We’re working on it in NJ. Unfortunately the federal government doesn’t seem to be motivated to do anything about these cute little killers. Their position is that there are many adult oriented novelties that would also appeal to kids. The same position may stall the NJ initiative as well, so ultimately it’s up to us to police our kids and make sure they’re not playing with this fire, at least.

Wow.. that is crazy. I would have never guessed any of those items are lighters. I almost think we need legislation against making dangerous items like a lighter to look like a toy!
