can you post some pics of you please!!
btw, i am awful about putting laundry away too
booey2 replied: what is your dream job? Well I had always wanted to be either a stay at home mom fulltime or a teacher.
are you doing it now? Nope, I am sitting in an office at a party rental company and I am the office administrator, order entry clerk and all around jack of all trades here.
how did you and DH meet? That is a rather funny story, I went to school up in Sudbury, at Laurentian University and met my DH at the beginning of the year and was not too fond of him at first. A few months went by and we had a formal to go to and my off again on again boyfriend at the time decided to stand me up a week out from the formal. So I acutally asked DH out on our first date and we haven't looked back since and that was in 1990.
what was your wedding like? It was beautiful. We got married in Cambridge at my church, we each had 3 attendents, a ringbearer and a flowegirl. We paid for it all ourselves and had about 100-130 people there for full dinner/dance, open bar, boy did they have fun. We also went to Sandals in Jamica for our honeymoon.
describe yourself in 3 words: Loving, giving, unselfish
can you post some pics of you please!! I will once I get home to night, there are some of me in the pics of ourselves post and there is one in my ticker of Thomas and I ( I am wearing the same top right now and haven't changed that much).

Do you have siblings? I am adopted and have 1 sister and 1 brother. Birth parents are unkown.
Do your boys have cousins? Yes they have 5 cousins on my side and 6 cousins on DH's side.
What was your major in college? I majored in Religious Studies, it always facinated me growing up in a catholic setting.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Do you have one "best friend" , a circle of close friends with no real "best friend" or lots of friends that fufill different roles in your life?
What did you do on your last "date night with your husband (that you can post about )?
How do you envision your life in 5 years?
booey2 replied: Do you have one "best friend" , a circle of close friends with no real "best friend" or lots of friends that fufill different roles in your life? The only friends I have are my neighbour/babysitter, my bestfriend is my DH and you guys here are the closest thing I have to friends
What did you do on your last "date night with your husband (that you can post about )?
That was on our anniversary, we went out to a great dinner at Milestones and went to a movie and then home. Not much else happened, I really wanted to just be at home with my kids that day cause I didn't really feel like celebrating.
How do you envision your life in 5 years?
Hopefully still here at my job, maybe with another child and making more $$.
paradisemommy replied: what was your happiest memory growing up? how many children do you guys want total? do you have a favorite indulgence? most exotic place you've traveled to?
booey2 replied: what was your happiest memory growing up? Boy this is a real hard one, as I don't remember most of it. Looking at pictures from my past at moms house, I looked pretty happy when we went to Disney for the first time, I was 3 I think. We had a pretty rough life growing up after I was about 6 dad wasn't around much and I think I have blocked lots of those memories.
how many children do you guys want total? I would love to have 4 or 5 but life is not likely gonna let us do it. We will probably stick to 2 maybe, big maybe, one more.
do you have a favorite indulgence? I love to sit by myself with a good book and a mug of Baileys and read for hours. I haven't done this in about 7 years.
most exotic place you've traveled to? Jamaica, Montego Bay on our honeymoon. I have also been to Europe but I wouldn't call that exotic.
kimberley replied: it is great getting to know you better, Terri! btw, we are still waiting for more pics
you don't have to answer this if you feel it is too personal, but i was wondering if you ever searched for your birth parents or siblings? or if you plan to?
what was your thesis about in religious studies? what are your current views on organized religion?
what is your idea of a "fun" night?
what extra-curricular activities did you participate in during high school/ college?
if you could meet anyone famous, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
booey2 replied: This is kind of fun, and I am working on getting some pics up soon. I have to get on DH's computer tonight to do it. There really aren't that many of me as I am ususally behind the camera, I will go looking after my WI tonight.
you don't have to answer this if you feel it is too personal, but i was wondering if you ever searched for your birth parents or siblings? or if you plan to?
I have thought about searching for them, I do know that I was born here in Toronto, they called it the City of York back then. I am torn with looking and not looking, I am really not sure how it would affect my mom. Both my brother and sister went looking and my sister told my mom from the start and she was okay with it, I think because my sisters search didn't result in anything. My brother on the other hand found his birth mother and lived with her for a while. My brother finally told my mom about what he was doing and they have since all gotten together and get along fine. It kinda helped that my brother's girlfriend had a little boy last year and that brought them altogther. They all live out in Cambrigde/Kitchener and they were born in that area and adopted into Cambridge. In an ironic twist I was born in York, adopted and raised in Cambridge and now live in Toronto. Who knows, I could have already met my birth parents and not even know it.
what was your thesis about in religious studies? I really can't remember but I can check tonight at home, I have been out of school now for 13 years and I really didn't have to defend it so it doesn't stick out in my mind.
what are your current views on organized religion? I really don't discuss it much but since you asked, I believe that there is one powerful being that looks over us all and he/she has many different names. I don't agree with a lot that the Roman Catholic Church puts forth but I do agree with their basic doctrines and teachings. Our children are attending the Catholic school system because I believe they instill a good solid basis for morals and ethics. (okay gonna stop here)
what is your idea of a "fun" night?
A "fun" night is a night with my DH without the nagging worry in my mind that the kids are okay and behaving for their sitter. Either out to a movie or live theatrical peformance, dinner at a nice restaraunt and then our own "fun" either at home or somewhere with the fear of little ones waking and walking in on us.
what extra-curricular activities did you participate in during high school/ college?
In highschool, you name it I played it - basketball, volleyball, badminton, track and field events, cross country running ( we didn't have to much more cause when I was in highschool, we were the one of the first catholic schools to get full funding from the government to go to grade 13 and not have to go to a private catholic school or public school after junior high).
In University I only played hockey and that was in my last 3 years and it was an intramural league- where we played against other residences.
if you could meet anyone famous, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would have to say, Mr. Elvis Presley. He will always be my favourite singer/entertainer. He also looks a little like my dad.
Thanks for the questions sorry if this got a little long but you really asked some tough ones.
booey2 replied: Hi, okay here a couple of pics of me as requested by Kimeberly...
me and th boys at the zoo this summer
booey2 replied: Thomas and I at the beach...
booey2 replied: More at the zoo
booey2 replied: Last one, one hot day in July, me, my niece, Matthew & Thomas at Niagara Falls.
kimberley replied: great pics! looks like you all had fun! you have a contagious smile pretty lady!!
booey2 replied: Awe shucks, now you got me blushing at my seat at work. Thank you very much, and yes they had a blast at the zoo, the beach at the bluffs and at Niagara Falls. By the way the trip to the falls was a last minute one, DH woke up one Saturdayand decided he wanted to go to the falls, meanwhile I was out grocery shopping andn when I got in the door he made the suggestion. My niece was up babysitting for us at the time cuz my regular sitter had gone on holiday and we needed a fill in. As I walked in the door from shopping he says "Lets go to the Falls." Well the kids went ballistic and were soo excited, my niece thought we did this evey weekend. I assured her that we didn't.
