Anything outdoors! He loves water and all sports! He has a million balls and likes to drag them out at every possible chance. He's a runner too so you better watch out because you take your eyes off him for a second and he's gone! ;)
Latest Achievement:
He copies everything you do! I was laying down with him the other night an blowing on his head to cool him off, he grabbed my head with both hands and started to blow as hard as he could at my head! And he's talking up a storm and adding new words daily. His latest is the word "stuck"!

Thanks!! We think so too but then again we are a little bias!!! 
1. Taven has too many girlfriends to count. He loves Jade, met a 3 yr old named Tory at the park that he loves (and she loves him too..so cute!!), just met another little girl named Summer at my mil's work (starting early huh?)!!
2. He LOVES to read! Right now his favorite book is this little hard cover one that is a dump truck and is only about 6 pages long. I have to read it no less than 10 times at one sitting. He also loves Go Dog Go!
3. His stats at a year and a half were..26 lbs and 32 inches..but he grows like a weed and since he'll be two in a couple months..i know those numbers are low!!
4. I've been looking into preschool for him. My mil is watching him all this week as my dh and i are on active duty and she took him into work with her (she works at an elem. school). she put him in the first grade and went to do some work and he LOVED it. when she went back to get him he told her NO..
5. My mil told him that she would take him on the bus today (this was last night) so as i was nursing him and trying to get him down for the night, he must have pulled off of me no less than 1/2 dozen times to tell me BUS! he was so excited!! lol

1. i would have to say french fries from mcdonalds!! lol..otherwise RICE..he LOVES it but it has to be plain white rice with nothing on it (no gravy/juice/etc).
2. oh man..least favorite would be if you try and put anything on the rice!!..he's actually pretty good about at least trying stuff and he started liking his veggies again so i guess i've been pretty lucky..he's still pretty picky though but only because i'm still bf!! my mil says he's been eating wonderfully w/out me so he's got a great appetite!

yep!! he has 5 cousins on my side (but all on the mainland) and 3 cousins on dh's side.
omg..he loves sesame street - especially the end when they have the statue of liberty boogying..i think that's his favorite part cause he always jumps up on the bed and starts boogying too!!
right now his room is pretty blah..i'm not very creative at all but for his 2nd birthday, i'm making his party a construction theme so i've been looking for some construction stensils and actually may attempt to get a little creative..

he is wonderful in the car. i just started putting books in there with him and he'll hold it up like he's reading it and all you'll hear is a big belly laugh..i still haven't quite figured out what exactly he's laughing at but its hilarious.
i would definitely say playing in the water..he'll grab the hose and shoot at everything (we have one of these nozzles that has like a dozen different settings) but watch out because everything/everyone is fair game with it on!! lol
he's a WILD child! just ask carrie-ann (jade's mom)

wow..that's a toughie..i would say one time when i was nursing him, he pulled off and gave me a big hug and kiss then went right back to nursing..it just melted my heart!! he still does it occasionally - he'll be eating then he'll kiss me right in between my breasts then go back to where he was!!
favorite food? macdonalds french fries and plain white rice. least favorite? anything added to his rice (gravy, sauce, etc.) he won't touch it!!
i think he'll do something technical..he's always taking things apart and inspecting it and looking at it so quizzically!

his favorite toy is this little plastic dumptruck that is filled with megablocks..he's always dumping it out and sitting on it..(it's pretty big)
no pets but he loves animals..whenever he sees an animal, dog or cat - he always runs after him/her yelling either meeeeyow or arf arf arf..i think he's trying to talk to them!! lol

LOL!!!!!!  Oh yeah he's a wild child and don't ever take the poor boy shopping. He just doesn't like it. When the both of them get together it takes me a day to recouperate.

i like to think of it more as his mischievous little smile!!! lol
we get those individual rolls of tp and he would get ahold of one every now and then. i found him one time in our room and it looked like it had just snowed..it was COVERED in white and he was still unrolling but the look on his face was pure bliss (and caught in the act!)

he LOVES to help and is always cleaning up around the house!!!
last week at the park, he jumped on a lady's lap and proceeded to help her make a bottle for her 9 mo. old son and proceeded to help feed him (held the bottle) then later held his arm..i could have died..it was just the sweetest..after that i kept thinking to myself..ok maybe it is time for a sibling!!!
i think the most amazing thing is to just know that dh and i created him from nothing and to see how far he's come from his birth!! i just adore being a mommy and can't even explain the happiness and joy he's brought to our lives!!
ok these aren't necessarily my favorites but they are some recent pics of him...
my parents came over to visit for 3 weeks and absolutely spoiled him rotten..this one is of him on his new pony!!
