booey2 replied: So sorry I am getting on so late tonight. First day back at work is crazy and the baby broke his elbow on our last day at the cottage.(that is a whole other story for another time-hopefully tomorow) I will answer all questions asked before I turn in. So here goes.

Matthew is now 5 years old, and roughly 40 inches tall and 40 pounds, he was at birth 6 pounds 9 ounces and three weeks early.

Thomas is now 20 months old and 24inches tall and approx. 23pounds. At birth he was 7 pounds and 12 ounces and 10 days early.

They both love all the popular kids programs, they really haven't gone crazy over one specific character or show.

They play great together and love to horse around and play fight. Their age difference makes any structured play a little difficult right now but as Thomas gets older it should be great.

They don't share a room right now but they each have 1 half of a bunk bed set (it used to belong to Dad-Michael-and his brother). Matthew really wants to share a room just to sleep in the bunks.

Thomas will follow Matthew around and copy him. He even tries to play the piano whenever Matthew gets up on it to play around.

Matthew took skating lessons last fall and will do so again the fall and winter. He also loves to swim and play soccer. We are just really busy city people and travel a lot to see my family who all live out of town so I don't feel it would be fair to enroll him just yet into competetive team sports only to have to miss games. Also with our vacationing out of the city in the summer he would miss it to.

Well Matthew looks just like Dad and his side of the family and Thomas takes after me. I am adopted so the we can't see if they look like anyone else in my side.

Matthew still has all his teeth.

Thomas is only missing I think maybe 4 teeth. They all came in fast and furiously.

Both boys have no real set bed time. When they get tired off they go to bed. With Thomas it all depends and when he gets up in the morning and what time he naps during the day.

Matthew was in Junior Kindergarten last year and this year he is in Senior Kindergarten at a local Catholic School.

During the day I have a great neighbour who looks after both boys while I am at work. She had Matthew when he was just 6months old and Thomas at 9 months so she is just like a part of the family.

Matthew really goes through phases when it comes to toys. Right now it is the yu gi oh cards and he loves to with cars and hotwheels. Thomas just wants to play with anything that Matthew has. They both love to get on the computer and play too.

Matthew just recently got a pet for his birthday from his grandmother. A Beta Fighting fish, named Hulk (after the movie The Hulk). He loves it and thinks it is neat.

Matthew will eat just about anything and he loves pizza, vienna sausages and kraft cheese slices. Thomas has yet to show a liking for any specific food, of course he loves his bottle of milk.

Junk food is a real treat around here. I try to limit them but have not really set a specific amount that they can have. We didn't have junk food growing up in my house and when I did get my hands on it look out it never lasted. So I am of the opinion that you should have everything in moderation now so as not to gorge your self when you are allowed to have it.

We try to get them out as much as possible. The baby sitter has them from 7am-5:30pm and they play outside a lot as long as it is not too humid. We also like to go for walks around the neighbourhood on pleasant nights.

Matthew has been to quite a few movies with his dad and his grandmother to the theatre and has seen many at home. He has seen 2 Star Wars movies in the theatre and I think a Star Trek one, Finding Nemo and the Wild Thornberrys, he also saw Daddy Daycare with Grandma. Thomas is still to little to go the theatre but loves the movies at home.

They haven't yet doubled up to get into trouble yet but that will come as they get older and Thomas understands more of what is going on around him.

Matthew loves McDonalds and Thomas follows his big brother there too.

They are both pretty easy going children and pretty much the same temperment. They don't look that much a like ( at least I don't think so).

I will wait til we get the pics back from our holidays and try and get some up here to share with you all. I have a great one of Thomas from last year. I will get is scanned on up real soon.

Not sharing one yet but Matthew really wants too and if we decide to try for another child (really on the negative side of that fence right now) they will eventually share a room.

Matthews room is now a nice periwinkle blue colour. I love the colour of his room, no other real motif to the room. Thomas room is an antique gold colour with a noah's ark border and stick ups on the wall.

They have no real favourite foods they will eat anything.

Matthew started school last fall in Junior Kindergarten and this September he will go into Senior Kindergarten.
