"Mommy had a baby!"

redplaydoh wrote: I do not know where Lucas comes up with some of the things he says. (Do you see my eyes rolling here??)

Yesterday, a friend of mine called me and Lucas picked up the other extension and told her very clearly that "Mommy had a baby!" she was very surprised and asked if there was something I hadn't told her. Before I could say anything Lucas began repeating it over and over with this cackling laughter inbetween.

Today I took the kids in for a recheck at the doctor. As soon as the doctor walks in, can you imagine what Lucas said?? He looked surprised as well. I clarified to the doctor that I had NOT had another baby. So if you hear news of a new baby in our house the rumor was started by Lucas and it isn't true. ohmy.gif)

By the way, the kids are doing much better and we're weaning them from the nebulizer treatments. If all goes well we should be off the nebulizer in about 3 weeks.

C&K*s Mommie replied: how wonderful that the boys are doing much better.

some kids are VERY psychic....
it's a classic Jennifer answer I know but it's unusual for a kid to come up with something like that without a reason.... wink.gif

Adrienne522 replied: biggrin.gif That made me smile. Kids are great.

Calimama replied:
I was thinking the same thing. The day before I gave birth my nephew went around telling everyone that he would have a new baby cousin tommrow. It was the first time he had brought it up since we told him we were pregnant.. and he was correct. blink.gif

MotherForever2043 replied: Kids these days. rolleyes.gif That definetly put a smile on my face. smile.gif

redplaydoh replied:
There is no possible way. We had to do IVF to get our kids, not only do I have a problem, but DH does too so there isn't even the possibility for an oops. Not that I'd mind, but it is just out of the question.

CantWait replied: Maybe he's trying to tell you something emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

Any chance? tongue.gif

Stranger things have happened. blink.gif

cameragirl21 replied:
don't be so sure, DeAnn, i've heard of plenty of cases here parents used all sorts of infertility treatments to get their first and then were surprised at how effortlessly the next one came along.
God works in mysterious ways, and i could totally see you with a little girl. wub.gif
but if i'm right, just promise you'll name her after me, lol, just kidding...! rolling_smile.gif

sparkys2boys replied: Glad that all is on themend.. as foe the new baby.. lol.. how was labour???

redplaydoh replied:
As much as I would LOVE to have another baby, it just isn't possible. Not even possible for an oops... both of my fallopian tubes have been removed so there is no way for the egg to get to where it needs to go. DH has something wrong with the shape of his little soldiers so when we went in to do all the pre-testing it was determined that he as well had a 0% chance of getting me pregnant had I had the egg-highways in place.

Labor for both my boys was quite easy, went fast, didn't hurt a lot.. I had 3 hour labors with both of them. It wasn't bad at all...

quinnandjacob'smom replied: tongue.gif How cute! My older brother went around the neighborhood telling everyone his mom's fat tummy came from having a baby in it. She was moritified! You wonder where they get this stuff!
