Kated replied: Well about a week or 2. I go to the doctor next week. I was supposed to get my monthly friend yesterday and I had no feelings of it or being PG so I took a test and It says I am!!!!!!!!!

Diet restrictions really kinda depend on how you feel about things. I cut all caffine out of my diet completely, some people just cut back, some just keep drinking it.
If you smoke, QUIT.
they also say stay away from large ocean fish, and cut back on Tuna.

Tuna --- no more than once a week
No sushi or other raw fish/meat
My doc also said to stay away from lunchmeat, although I ate turkey sandwiches almost every day.
I was also told to limit shellfish (although I don't know whY)
I also stayed away from atrificial sweeteners
EvesMom replied: Caffeine is ok but limit your amounts(1 cup of coffee is ok). Lunch meats should be heated to steaming before eating(lysteria) No soft unpastuerized cheese(lysteria) Do not eat shark,swordfish,king mackerel, or tilefish. (high mercury) Limit to 12 oz a week of shrimp, canned light tuna, salmon, pollock, and catfish. Only 6 oz of albacore tuna per week.
I have a list of meds that are ok during pregnancy if you would like.
Kated replied: Well I dont have to worry about the fish thing I dont eat fish. In the SUmmer we get fresh Tuna steaks but thats all I eat I never really eat Tuna so will not miss that. I normally onlyhave one cup of coffee in the am once in a blue moon Ill have two or even have one in the afternoon. The only time I really eat shellfish is when we go to red lobster maybe what 3 times a year.
I drink allot of tea. SO cool I can still have my coffee. Sweet As far as I know Im only like 2 weeks PG

The fear started for me right away, but it didn't get better. then I worried is she kicking enough? is that pain normal? is this kid comming out? and once the kid was born it became, is he warm enough, is he eating enough, is this rash normal... it never ends. Welcome to motherhood.

I think im going to get decaf. coffee to be safe Im already worried about it.
booey2 replied: Congratulations, I noticed you said you drink a lot of tea, just be careful that it is decafinated tea or hebal decaf, because tea can have more cafine then coffee. Congrats again and have a healthy and happy nine months.

I don't get the "don't eat lunch meat" either because this is my 4th pregnancy, but the first time I have heard that, must be a new rule. 
Sometimes sandwhiches and bland food is all you can stomach.
But - I do stay away from sushi and meat not well done, things like that.
Lately all I have wanted is cereal. ha!
