1 food item that you never have in your house - spinoff of Jessica's post
cameragirl21 wrote: ok, what is the one thing that will NEVER be found in your house as far as food goes? Mine is obvious--meat, unless you count the cat food and sometimes I have been known to bring home meat from parties to feed them or buy them meat treats, although I haven't bought any meat (other than in the form of cat food) for a long time, although I do bring it home from parties on a fairly regular basis, they LOVE it! what about you--what food is never in your home?

cameragirl21 replied: I never have soda either, unless I am hosting a party or having guests who drink it...I can't stand it.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Coffee...neither of us drink it.
cameragirl21 replied: I don't drink coffee either, I don't understand the coffee craze, the only time I have coffee is when I was in finals in school and when I was out having too much fun, it has a way of sobering you up fast. Other than that, I'll pass on it.

Fishy Sketty:
sketty stewed Italian Del Monte tomatoes. Parmesan cheese olive oil and lastly anchovies!
I have to make DH's first as he hates them.
I don't think there is anything that can't be brought into the house. I don't do red meat but dh does. He doesn't do seafood or raw foods and I do so our foods are a little bit of everything.
cameragirl21 replied: me too, I love anchovies...but only in my caesar salad. I always ask for no croutons and extra anchovies.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: So you actually could be a leopard and just eat fish!
cameragirl21 replied: yeah, Idk if I ever let it be known but I think I did when I asked everyone if they like sushi and I said I LOVE it--I'm not really a true vegetarian in that I eat some seafood--no crabs or lobsters but some fish, mainly sushi. It's what is called a pesco-vegetarian or a pescatarian. Nowadays, it's common for people to call themselves vegetarians and still eat fish, it's rather stylish in hollywood where you hear that Gillian Anderson is a strict vegetarian whose favorite food is salmon sushi. But I've been this way for over 14 years now so it's not a fashion thing for me. But yeah, I never quite gave up fish, I guess I just love sushi too much. Fish don't have a complex nervous system and thereby don't feel pain, or so they say, so I learned in biology class. Idk if it's true though, or just something we fish eating vegetarians tell ourselves (and each other) to make ourselves feel better.
moped replied: Are you a vegan or vegetarian? I don't know much about either but just curious
cameragirl21 replied: a vegan is someone who uses NO animal products at all--no eggs, no dairy, and in most cases, no wool, no silk, etc. my hats off to vegans but I could never be one--I typically drink 3 glasses of milk a day and can eat shredded cheese right out of the bag.
sweetpeasof3 replied: Funny. I was haaving coffe a few days ago and Luke wanted a taste! He loves it!
punkeemunkee'smom replied:
I believe that all animals probably feel pain but may not know what it is. If they did not then a fish or a goat or pig would not have any chance of survival-they would sit there and allow themselves to be injured or what have you. When they knock a cow they do not feel it just like if you hunt and get a good shot no pain is felt it is instant and either way it is over...literally so they don't know they felt it anyway
3xsthefun replied: Neither do we. I've tried on couple different occasions but just can't get taste for it.
Funny thing is.. we both love the smell of it..just can't stand the taste of it.
Twelve Volt Man replied: Organ meat, huh?
