10-12 inches of snow - it's kinda pretty.....
MyLuvBugs wrote: But it's a little cold outside. We might take Lorelei out later for some snow fun. Here are some pics.
MyLuvBugs replied: Here's another. Check out the roof of the building. lol I think the snow is done for the most part.....but it's headed your way now Karen (coasterqueen) Stay warm.
fashionmumofboys replied: Pretty pictures of the snow.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: wow that is pretty... even I admit it and I'm sick to death of snow! We didn't get any good snow like that this winter though. I miss the good old days when I was a kid and the snow was up to my waist.
MyLuvBugs replied: I TOTALLY remember those days too! But I guess as we get bigger the snow doesn't.
coasterqueen replied: Yeah, we got freezing rain first in mid of night and then blowing snow. I couldn't even look out of ANY window in our house this morning because the snow and ice are plastered to my windows. We got around 4 to 6 inches around where we live already and are expecting to get 2 to 4 more today. The problem is drifting snow. This morning Dh could barely get down our road because of it. I waited til the plow came through and quickly followed it. Getting home will be another story.
luvmykids replied: Just beautiful!
mom21kid2dogs replied: It takes too long to download pics now so I didn't see but I"M SO JEALOUS!! All our warnings are cancelled (along with school ) and we got a whopping 3 flakes here in Ohio. We have had NO appreciable snowfall the entire winter. I'm so bummed!! Could you send me some . . . . .please??
Bee_Kay replied: I am MN, and so sick of snow now!! LOL
It is starting to warm up though (around 35 F) so it melts a little in the daytime, then freezes over to ice at night! My patio is like a skating rink now.
VERY pretty pictures though!!
MyLuvBugs replied: I totally wish I could. I'm so ready for spring.
3xsthefun replied: Pretty snow pictures!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: That is beautiful! It makes me cold to look at it.
Karen I dont' know how you drive in that stuff. All of TX would be shut down if we had that weather here.
coasterqueen replied: You put the pedal to the metal, hold on tight and have a little fun WITHOUT getting in the ditch.
After driving in what was the worst ever snow storm for me in an 8 hour drive from Chicago to Springfield (which should have only taken 3.5 hours max) w/2 kids and my sister........nothing seems to compare for me.
kayla's mama replied: Wow that looks so gorgeous!!!!! Here in TN/MS all we get is ice.....I sure do miss the snow, though.
