37 week appt. - ???

Anyways, there are a few things I need to talk to my doctor about, such as depression, and this cold thing I have going on. So, I was wondering what you guys think as far as not going to the appointment because I am not sure if they would have one earlier in the week, though I am going to call tomorrow morning and find out if they can move my appointment to earlier in the week. If not, what is everyone's outlook on skipping the 37 week appointment and setting up my 38 week appointment for that monday ?

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated~

PrairieMom replied: I would try to make another appt, but really at the rate you go, you will probably end up having pre-term labor and need to go in anyway. It will be over soon tho! I am really impressed that you have made it this far! it has been a real battle all the way!

Mommy2Isabella replied: Thanks! I am going to try to get in, but if they can't see me then I guess they can't see me. I have started having contractions again ... NO FUN. Painful but not anywhere near close enough together. I think I have probably dialated some more and that she is more effaced and changed stations.

I keep feeling WEIRD sensations in my lower pelvic area and pulling sensations that kind of hurt like a pulled muscle but go away ...

We are so ANXIOUS to meet her, I can hardley wait to post pictures and everything. We are so HAPPY to have made it this far along when they thought I was going to go way earlier , at any rate< my unlce says that and I love it, we are out of the RED as far as her not being developed as much as they would like so now I suppose it is just a waiting game. I can still hardley believe that I am pregnant !

I don't think it'll be a big deal to get in Monday instead of Thursday at all. As for Sal starting a new job, they should be pretty slack and let him off on the Thursday if need be considering they really can't expect someone to drop everything at the drop of a coin and start on a days notice.

I am SO glad that you were able to stretch this pregnancy out to a healthy time to go into labor!

I am having some KILLER back pain and of course all the weird twinges in the nether regions!

Isabella is truely our little miracle, the docs said I couldn't get pg, and I did, they said I wouldn't carry her full term, and I am 1 week away, ahhh, how amazing God is ...
