38 week appointment - YAY :) all kinds of good news

I am ALL GOOD TO GO. I am scheduled to be induced on the 8th. I know some people look down on that, but we really want Daddy to be there and induction is pretty much the only way to do that. Plus, little ISABELLA is ready. They said I may go before that so we will see what happens with all of that.

I am at 0 station, and 70% effaced , still only 1 cm dialated which is the poops but ... who knows! Well, anyways, thats all for now. I will probably be rather scarce around the boards over the next week or so, seeing as I have a bunch of stuff to finish getting done around the new place, such as unpacking and getting everything else set up and cleaned up.

Sal will be SURE to update everyone when Isabella arrives!

That's wonderful progress!!! At least now you don't have to be restricted to the bed anymore. Now you're good to go so enjoy it while you can.

Mommy2Isabella replied: I would love to have her before August 8th. But it is SO NICE to know its right there. Though, since we found out, I am FREAKING out, cleaning EVERYTHING, dusting like crazy vacumming every couple hours ... lol I am going to drive sal INSANE ... but I just need to get everything ready for when she gets here . Seeing as we just moved it seems like I have a ton of stuff to do, when really I don't have THAT much to do !!

Thanks everyone, and like I said in the original post. I know a lot of people disagree with induction, but for us, it is kind of important, we would like her to come on her own, but at the time of the induction I will be 39 weeks, and if we aren't induced there is no garauntee that Sal could be there because of his new job, and that is something we don't want him to miss.

I just want to make it known that we would LOVE it if Isabella came on her own ... but knowing when she will be here FOR SURE makes things seem a lot less stressful at the same time.

Can I just get a ... GOOD JOB FOR STAYING IN THERE ISABELLA hand clap I must say we are IMPRESSED at her ability!

I was induced at 38 weeks with both of mine...they were big babies. She will be fine. Good luck getting everything ready.
