5 week m/c - Too many questions...
siblingtoolivia wrote: Hi, I had been posting on the TTC boards, DH and I tried one month and conceived, couldn't believe my good fortune...until 1 week after finding out which would have been 5 weeks pg, when I started bleeding and miscarried......
Want to try again RIGHT away, but wonder if my body is telling me not to since it happened at all...does that make sense?
Wonder since it happened sooo early if it was just a fluke and wouldn't happen again...obviously noone has that crystal ball but wondered what everyone else thought about trying again right away.....

Mom2Boyz replied: I am so sorry about your loss It doesn't matter how far along you are, a m/c still hurts.
As far as trying again right away. Dh and I had a m/c before I got pg with Conner. We weren't really trying, but not preventing it either. It took 5 months, and I was pg with him. I say if you're emotionally ready to try again, and there were no real complications with your m/c, then go for it. Chances are it was just a fluke and it won't happen again.
BIG (((((HUGS))))) and good luck in whatever you decide.
luvmykids replied: I don't have any experience in this area, just wanted to say sorry and best wishes whenever you try again.
moped replied: You are right, nobody has a crystal ball, but if you are meant to be PG then you will be. I had a mc and I never waited to try again - I am sure this is no help at all..................

azlady28 replied: That sounds like my story exactly. We got pregnant on the second time trying, found out I was pregnant and then a week later, started cramping and bleeding. I was five weeks as well, going on the sixth week. My doctor suggested waiting two cycles before trying again. I am getting older, 32, so feel like I need to try. I'm going to wait one cycle and try again. I would hate to have another one, so I'll let my body adjust back a bit.
I had a huge cold when I conceived. I was taking lots of medicine and wonder if that had any thing to do with it.
I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm hoping since it happend so easily the first time, we won't have any trouble the next. I'll try and take care of myself a little better when we do!
siblingtoolivia replied: Thanks for your response azlady28, I have been reading alot about chemical pregnancy, shows a faint positive line, but the pregnancy never really gets off the ground so to speak....that sounds like what happened to me, took three tests, all were positive but faint lines, I remember with my first a bright blinding line....don't know though what is the difference between a chemical pregnancy ending in m/c and just a m/c...maybe the chemical ends soo much earlier??? Don't know....
I am waiting for my AF to start again, I am 35 and DH is 42, really can't and don't want to wait to try again...I was taking care of myself, wasn't taking anything that I shouldn't have been so I guess you have to look at it as fate either way....when I think back to my first I didn't take any special care of myself, didn't even know I was pregnant cause I wasn't trying....exercised, ate, drank, took my refulx medicine, etc. etc.........
Thank you for your support!!
mckayleesmom replied: Sorry girly....hugs and prayers to you. On a side note....I had a miscarriage and concieved Mckaylee 2 weeks later...and she was born happy and healthy.
