A Girls Gone Wild weekend in Miami

These are my top tens from the trip. I will post the pics after this...there are tons!!!

10. Getting called Jessica Simpson at the Miami Airport That was my biggest laugh and dubbed me the new nickname "Jess." Yes, I realize it was a joke.

9. The food!! Steak, sushi, pizza...Eating CHEESE everyday until I couldn't poop. The alcohol didn't even counteract it. But seriously, it was some of the best cheese I've ever had in my life. And I found out that when you stay at the Ritz and there's something you want that isn't on the menu, just ask for it and the chef will do a fantastic job of creating exactly what you want.....

8. Staying at The Ritz Carlton. The hotel is amazingly beautiful and classy. Even if it is full of geriatrics who turn in at 8 every night...I mean, who does that in MIAMI??!!

7. The company we kept the first two nights we were there. I've never laughed so hard in my life at a bunch of 40-something married men. Dang those men knew how to have a good time (and drop a bunch of cash!!) Glad I was there for that!! Speaking of dropping cash...getting a table at Club Mansion, a pool cabana at The Delano all day on Thursday with unlimited drinks and food (even a foot massage!!), eating at Prime 112 and running into some celebs (none worth mentioning) And no, I didn't have my camera at Club Mansion or Prime 112. Just for the record, in case I show up on You Tube or Middle Aged Girls Gone Wild, the wardrobe malfunction at Club Mansion was NOT intentional. My friend so gently pointed out that my career in politics is OVER after this weekend. Same goes for my husband and either of my children. If I keep it up, I may even spoil it for my grandchildren.

6. Sean. He is in his late 40's, the funniest, most spontaneous man I've ever met. We became instant friends. My favorite moment was when he stole my white sunglasses and started dancing in the pool at the Delano. The DJ even turned the music up and the entire pool was cracking up. Such fun!!

5. The weather. It did rain some and we had some overcast days, but for the most part it was beautiful!!!

4. The ocean, the waves, the sounds...it was all so wonderful. Far from relaxing, except for Yoga on the beach Friday morning.

3. Eye candy. Nuff said.

2. Getting drunk enough that I honestly thought it would be a good idea to steal my best friend's thong (underwear) and run around on the beach like a complete idiot. I think walking to Walgreens at 11 o'clock on a crowded Saturday night on Lincoln Rd in our bathrobes (fresh out of the hot tub) also fits into this category.

1. LAYING OUT TOPLESS ON THE BEACH!!! This 21 year old cutie actually stopped to talk to us (I wonder now if it was a dare!) He was under the assumption I was European. I wonder why he thought that??

So, yeah....I had a GREAT TIME!!!! Now I need to find out how to tell my husband that he will never be able to run for office.

Love the bathrobe pic, reminds of the night my sister got married and hubby and hiked it up to our local grocers at 1am to buy me snacks and water all dolled up in my bridesmaid gear.

Waist up, back only. Hard to reach places. He is such a nice guy. We were laying there topless and he came by to let us know about his services. I said "Can I take a picture of you?" He's married and attends school. He didn't actually apply any lotion to me, but Sherrie got him to do her back last year.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: You have to get the cabana boys to set up a chair for you on the beach. They put the women by the lifeguard stand, especially if you are topless. Guess where we were? Front row seats!!
