But now I think he's kind of cute and I'm fine with it lol rolling_smile.gif.
So anyone ever had a hermit crab and are they that hard to care for?

MomToMany replied: thumb.gif That's quite the zoo! I've never had a hermit crab. They are too freaky looking to me!

gr33n3y3z replied: I never did but my friend did and just make sure it has water and food thats it
I lke your small zoo
A hedgehog? Do they make good pets? Are they easy to care for?is it in the house?

Mommy2Be replied: rolling_smile.gif Mollie I agree I am okay with it however I don't EVER want to touch it LMBO rolling_smile.gif. To much like a spider blink.gif.

Hegdehogs are pretty neat to have defiantly something not everyone has. Yes there pretty easy to care for. They make fairly good pets as long as they get a LOT of attenion esp. if they're going to be near kids, Yes she's in the house she's not very big smaller then a guinea pig. Thanks for the help and info. biggrin.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: So hedgehogs are like little kids but they never grow up and slow down

Mommy2Be replied: LMBO rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif OMG i just read that sorry I'm losing it today I didn't mean to make it sound like that hehe I'm really sorry.

What I meant is they need to have a LOT of attenion if they are going to be around children. They do have quills that will poke you and HURT like He#% if you get poked by them. So they need to be given a LOT of attenion so they are tame. Ours is VERY tame and Gracie has NEVER been poked by her. Again sorry I'm not all there this morning. blush.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: lol
Its ok
I have those days more often enough any more so it all seems normal for me lol

My2Beauties replied: My mom had Hermit crabs (yes plural) she had like 5 of them. And they were ok but not much you could do with them. She would let them get out and run around on the floor sometimes, they creeped me out but she was fascinated by them! She has toads now, that woman rolleyes.gif They lived a pretty long time too! I can't remember how long the longest one lived, but they get traumatized easy too for some reason so you have to show them lots of attention and love! Whoda thunk it!

A&A'smommy replied: I have had two one I had for about 9 months and the other for about a year, just keep the sand clean, fresh water and change his food everday it doesn't take very long oh and keep a few larger shells in his cage so he can change shells when he gets to larger he will have a new shell to move into to.

gr33n3y3z replied: I asked my hubby if I can get a hedgehog and he said hell no leave me alone I'm working LOL
He said the same thing when I wanted lizzards and frogs lol

A&A'smommy replied:
