A quick Question - Potty Training
moped wrote: How long in total did it take your child????
I have heard as little as 3 days to as many as 6 months.......
Just curious how long your took?
gr33n3y3z replied: Rick a few weeks day/night John a few days day/night Erin about a week day/night katie about a week day/night
moped replied: That doesn't sound too bad at all
ZandersMama replied: Zander was one day........but he decided and I think that was the key, HE was done with diapers rather then me being done with diapers.
He will wet the bed maybe once a month, and that is always nites that his dad has him, he forgets to take him for a pee before bed.
moped replied: 1 day!!!!! HOLY WOW
gr33n3y3z replied: John and I was talking about this the other night I think I said here he was 2 1/2 years old when he was potty trained in another post he said to me the other night no Mom I was 2 bc I wanted GI Joe underwear bc Ricky had some lol Once they get it they have it my kids never wet the bed they could have a few sips of drink before bedtime and that was it plus they HAD to go potty right before they got into bed that was a huge must with me.
moped replied: I agree - and I am trying to cut out any liquid for about 2 hours before bed - hard to do!
Kaitlin'smom replied: Kaitlin was about a week or 2 to be fully trained, I think, oh gosh I really cant remember, once she was really ready it was not long though.
ediep replied: It took Jason about 3 days
But we did nothing but potty train for those 3 days!!!!
moped replied: That is what we are doing too
Boo&BugsMom replied: I think it took Tanner about a week. Although, I can't really figure it out because his first day he only had one accident, the next day he had two. He still had accidents here and there, but once he was in undies he stayed in undies. I don't know how to timeline it because once the undie day came, that what that. The boys doctor has told me that it shouldn't take months to train a child. Well, unless you're dealing with a really stubborn one that is. Good luck Jen! I'm sure he'll do awesome!
My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke was day trained in under a week. We held off on the night training for probably 2 months after that, mainly because she is a heavy sleeper and I didn't know if she would wake herself up when she needed to pee. She still has nighttime accidents on occasion (once a month or so) even when she doesn't drink for hours before bed.
