Abby's birthday party - **pics**
Sam & Abby's Mom wrote: Well, our little lady turned 2! We had Abby's party this past Saturday. The ladybug theme was a big hit. Something about the color red -- made everything seem so 'festive'. When it came time to blow out the candles, Abby was a pro. LOL You'd think she's done it a million times before.........but she's only 2!!!
Here's a few pics:

Cece00 replied: too cute! i love everything, so cute. that cake is ADORABLE. where did you get all the food?
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: I pulled an all-nighter and decorated them myself!! I started baking and freezing the desserts on Tuesday and spent all of Friday night decorating them. I also made 50 cookie gift bags for the adults and kids (filled with homemade sprinkle, choc chip, oatmeal raisin and gooey butter cookies) and 20 toy gift bags (filled with magnifying glass, flashlight, ladybug whistle, coin gum, ladybug bubbles,,,) for the kids,,,,but forgot to take pictures. They turned out really cute, though. The ladybug cookies and cake were actually pretty easy. I highly recommend a ladybug theme for your little girl if you think she'd be remotely interested. You can google lots of ladybug stuff on the internet. I ordered ladybug bubbles that had a lable on them that said: Thanks for buzzing by Abby's 2nd birthday party 6-7-08
Lots of cute, fun ideas to play with and the color red really did make it a festive party.
Thank you for the pic comments, Cece.
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: oh, and you cant tell from the pics,,, but her dress had ladybugs, butterflies and dragon flies on it. I ordered it from PammyJ's online -- only $19.99 !!!!!!!!!!

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: That's ironic. Her first bday theme was butterflies and her 2nd bday theme was ladybugs. She has both in her room, too. She loves fairies but I'm waiting until she's a bit older to have that theme for her bday because a person could really goes CRAZY with fairies! Well,,,, I know I could. LOL
