About my period - Guys, you don't wanna know... LOL

This morning I got my period. When I changed my undies, I noticed this clot-like thing in my underwear. It's solid and looks and feels just like raw liver. (I was poking at it with a toothpick...) My cramps aren't unusual and so far it just seems like I'm bleeding kinda heavy but that's the only thing that is different from my normal periods.. So what of this clot-like thing?? Any suggestions or anything? Anyone know what the heck it is and if I should be worried??? Well I AM worried so I guess, if I should remain worried...

punkeemunkee'smom replied: If you had just gotten up esp. if yo uhad been laying down all night-it was a blood clot. It will pool and coagulate just like normal blood in your body-gross I know but should be harmless

Today we gotta drive to Milwaukee for a doctor's appointment (..we're back in Michigan for a while) so I probably won't get a chance today either. But I'll do it soon!
