About ready to throwup - Heard back about our offer on the house

Celestrina replied: We put in another bid last night and the bank said that if we weren't outbid or if they hadn't heard from the other bidders by noon we would get the house. It is now 4:24 and our realtor still hasn't heard anything. I haven't been this anxious in a looooong time.

Celestrina replied: *headdeskheaddeskheaddesk* They couldn't open my realtor's attachment in her email, which they neglected to tell her until the end of the day. Since the other party offered another bid before noon we have to wait until Monday to find out if we won it. If we lost after all this stress I'll kill someone.

The bank should have informed your realtor that they couldn't open the document, but I am really surprised your realtor didn't call to follow-up to ensure they received and could open the document.

She did; the bank didn't return her call.

Edit: That's one of the things we like about her; she is very aggressive when she needs to be.

A big part is the realtor who is working for the bank. She seems very lazy. For example, if you go to the house's online listing she doesn't give any room dimentions (which is standard practice). The size of the bedrooms is one of the biggest selling points but she didn't bother to measure them. Although, in this case it works in our favor.

Here it is 5:05pm and we still haven't heard anything. *runs around screaming* At this point I'm going to assume that we lost the bid.
