DEADLINES

Sign up by.....NOVEMBER 1st
Gifts are to be sent by .....DECEMBER 1st.....I know that seems early but we want the ornaments to get there in time to grace our trees.

RULES

1. MUST have 2000 posts in order to participate. If you have the points by the deadline then you may sign up, but PLEASE do not sign up before then. Also..Please do not start rapid posting to reach 2000 just to sign up. That becomes very obvious and if I get too many pm's with people that are unsure of you....I can't let you participate. Remember..there is always next year.

2. NOTE...if you sign up...some people will recieve the names of members in Canada and other countries.

3. The spending Limit is 10-15 dollars.....This can be a set of ornaments or whatever you choose.Please do not send any ornaments that may be considered offensive (think Nightmare before Christmas ) Ornaments must be new but can be handmade. Also PLEASE make sure they are packaged well for shipping. We don't want ornaments arriving broken

4. If you sign up and then a financial change occurs and you need to back out.....Just try to pm me before the deadline....It will be between you and me and it will be kept private. Things happen.

5. Same thing apply's for after you get the name of the person you are suppose to buy for. Im a very understanding person and things happen. If you let me know in time, I can either ask for volunteer's to send an ornament...another member to participate or send them one myself....IF you don't tell me in time...There is no excuse for why you didn't send an ornament and you won't be able to participate the following year.

6. IF you do not recieve an ornament...Please let me know as soon as possible so I can correct the problem.

7. Please do not balk at the person you recieve. You may not like them, but maybe the person that got you feels the same way...keep that in mind. This might just be a chance to get to know them better. The spirit of Christmas is giving regardless of wether you like them or not.

8. Please sign up in this thread.....and list some of the things you like, or the theme on your tree,something that may give your secret Christmas Elf some ideas on what you like

9.PLEASE email me your address's.....Don't send them to my pm box because it gets full to fast My email is punkeemunkeemom@yahoo.com or you can click the link under my posts.

10. Also....Sometimes the person you get might change...Hopefully not, but it happened a bit last year with people dropping out.

11. Most of all have fun and share your love of the holidays with your Christmas Elf If you have a talent show it off or find something that you can share that is special to you and your family

As far as what I like, I would like something original to that person's hometown/state/country or something THEY like so I can remember them when I see the ornament.

Any ornament are fine, religious or otherwise. I'd really liek somethign that reminded me of the person that sent it to me though (as someone else said)
