mummy2girls wrote: Ok ive never had to even deal with this... with Jordan i was induced and i wasnt even dialating yet. jenna i started to dialate at 36 weeks and then I was induced at 39 weeks. Im sitting here and I have had like 4 Bh's within a hour. The cramping feeling in all over my tummy and lower abdomen as well. On occasion lower back but very very rarely! The cramping feeling is a 2 to 3 on the scale of 10. Should i get checked tonight after work do you think or shoudl I just wait till tomorrow? I dont know what to do. I ask marcus his response would be Lets go to the hospital. Its the nervous first time daddy thing...LOL. I never went into labour on my own i was always induced so i dont know the signs. With jenna i lost my plug a week before getting induced and then halloween ( the day before) the cramping and tightning of the tummy started. I went in to get induced and i was at 3cm already.
msoulz replied: With the history you describe I would place a call to the doc.
I had BH's what seemed almost constantly with mine and it was not an issue - but to me they felt way different than labor so I could tell, even with the first one, that they were not labor but I know it is different for some women. So at least a phone call to see what the doc thinks sounds like a good idea to me.
momofone replied: How many days have you been having BH's if it just started they may be actual contractions you may be starting labor ...... not sure though.
A&A'smommy replied: I think first if you can you need to lay on your left side and drink some water if that doesn't help then I would call your doctor
mummy2girls replied: this has been goign on since yesterday afternoon...
momofone replied: i would go after work you might be starting to dialate....GL
coasterqueen replied: I had that for 2 months before Megan was born (born a month early).
Take it easy, Shelly. You don't want this baby coming yet.....trust me.
boyohboyohboy replied: I think you need to get a good cup of cold water, about 16 ounces at least and drink it right down, with your feet up.. and then see if you dont feel better, if not then call the dr and check in.. most of the time they always tell you to increase your water intake..and then see..
Calimama replied: Agreed.
luvmykids replied: Me three....when I was on bedrest with the twins I had BH's constantly and that was ALWAYS the first thing, drink more water. Dehydration is the most common cause of BH's. If, after a good long drink and some time lying down they continue, then I'd call.
A&A'smommy replied: Shelly are drinking enough water? I know I posted already but they always tell you that you should at least drink 64oz of water a day (pregnant or not) if not more never less, and stay off your feet as much as possible (which I know isn't easy for you to do)
Mommy2Isabella replied: any word??
coasterqueen replied: How are you feeling today Shelly?
