After somebody shoots Brianne, shoot me! - Landlord wants to sell house
luvmykids wrote: The timing just stinks, while everything else is up in the air about moving to work for the company or not the landlord called and wants to come by so he can make a "to do" list and get signs out THIS WEEKEND. Good grief, I'm already challenged in the housekeeping department, I can't handle having it on the market!!!! And I was banking on going month to month after the lease to buy some time but he's hoping it will sell before the lease is up and it probably will. Lord help me please!!!!!!!!

kimberley replied: that is too much in such short notice for one person. sorry that happened. i know firsthand how crappy it is to move with no notice. hang in there.

CantWait replied: Can he legally do that?? Sorry.
J-rod replied: its his house.....as long as he gives notice (as he did) and he cannot close on it until her lease is up then yes...its legal.
good luck! i know how you feel.
luvmykids replied: Yup, it's legal
My biggest gripe is, of course, trying to keep it "showable" with these kids and all the other craziness going on. I think the fact that it's someone elses house and not mine adds to the pressure, kwim? If it was mine and I couldn't show it, my loss. But I feel like since it's someone else on the line...oh boy I don't even want to think about it right now.
The other gripe is that I was taking my sweet time finding a new place to move to be close to the company and now I'm feeling pressure on that front. Add to that that now we'd have to be out by Dec 31 instead of going month to month and I'm imagining not much Christmas going on around here
But I'm going to think positive, that I'll find a place and be out of here and into it by Christmas and this will all be a distant memory ...
J-rod replied: best of luck to you.
