cameragirl21 replied: very pretty. you know, they only open their feathers like that when they're courting, trying to attract the females. can you believe that in animal culture, the male is prettier and is using that to attract females whereas in our culture, we get plastic surgery, botox, and whatever else to try to attract the males! wacko.gif
i once heard that a peacock will also open its feathers if scared so i once chased one around, with a couple of little girls in tow...we sure scared the daylights out of the poor guy but it didn't spread 'em for us. blush.gif happy.gif
