Almost had a heart attack - Mckaylee missing

mckayleesmom wrote: Tonight I sent Mckaylee to her room with Otis to go to bed. I locked up the house and sat down to watch 7Th Heaven. About halfway into 7th Heaven I got up to make sure she is in bed...sometimes she gets out of bed and sits in the hallway or plays in the bathroom . I go into her room and her bed is empty...which isn't suprising because sometimes she likes to camp on the floor...I check the floor and don't see her.....I lift up blankets and check under her bed, in her closet....There is no sign of Otis either. I start to panick thinking she left the house to take him for a walk. Usually she is allowed to take him in the backyard to go potty with me watching from the window....She loves to take the dog potty. I go to the backdoor and everything is still locked up, I check the front and its locked too. I get dh up and we start searching the house and outside even though it was locked......Finally dh mentions Russells room....and sure enough...There she is...cuddled up to Russell on the floor......Russells mattress is still on the floor till he gets the hang of the big boy bed deal. Otis came walking out.

I guess they got use to sleeping on the floor together this weekend. Isn't it wierd that my kids had 2 queen size beds and they still prefer the floor?

cameragirl21 replied: that's so sweet, Brianne...that she wanted to cuddle up with her brother to sleep, and that she took the dog with her and he went willingly, lol. dogs usually like to choose where they want to sleep, it's so cute that he sleeps with the kids.

Oh and the sleeping on the floor is a phase, both Emily and Spencer went through it!
