We just discovered he has a severe allergy to cow's milk---one taste of yogurt made him break out in hives and become congested, and one eyelid was very puffy, within two minutes. DansMom replied: Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! It's nice to be able to communicate with other moms in other states. I'm a working mom (a manager of copy editors at a publication) and an older mom (38); Daniel is my first. My husband takes care of Daniel during the day, and I am able to go home for lunch (lucky!) and spend time with my baby. Fortunately, I was able to be there when he first crawled (at mommy and me yoga class). That was Thursday---now he can't be stopped.
I am really enjoying reading about the milestones all the babies are achieving in this age-group. So much to look forward to!

I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan: came for college and never left. DH is a professional musician (a drummer)  and a SAHD.

jcc64 replied: We live about 100 miles north of New York City in the Catskill Mtns. We came here b/c my dh went to school in the area and we fell in love with it. My husband is also a musician (bass player), but has a day job (computer geek). Guess we have some things in common, huh?
