Am I crazy? - Need your honest opinion on my decision
Lollie wrote: Hi Mommies...
Okay...I seriously need your honest opinion.
Today I decided to register to do my psychology honours this year.I will be taking 3 subjects this year and 3 next year. When I have completed my 2 yrs I will have my Psychology Honours.
At first Devlin was a bit concerned that Im taking on a bit too much and so was my mom.But they know that I'd love to do it and they are standding by me and will give me all the support I need.I know I can out it on hold but I just really wanna do this!
I will be able to do the work at home in my own time and the only time I will have to go in is to write my exams or to submit assignments.
Please tell me if Im just crazy? In my heart I know that I will do just fine.
MomToMany replied: You can do it! I'm sure you can! Especially since you can do the work at home. It will all work out for you!
party-of-six replied: Not at all...you are doing something that you are passionate about. There is nothing crazy about that. Three classes a year is nothing...you will be able to handle it just fine. Good for you going after something you want!!
ediep replied: I think you can do it. Good luck
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Lollie you can do it!!! It will take lots of work, but I believe in ya!
paradisemommy replied: well i know for one that i could not do it - i get so easily distracted with taven and by then you'll have 2 and it's gonna be a bit crazy..but that's just me..BUT if you want something bad enough then you can easily achieve it..(well maybe not easily) but i believe you could do it!!!
A&A'smommy replied: You can do it your strong, young and you have lots of energy so I know you will do well!!
3forme replied: You can do whatever you put your mind to!! Good luck!!

Lollie replied: Thanx Mommies for your vote of confidence on my decision.
Today I went to collect my registration forms so my mind is made up..Im gonna go for it!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I don't know it sounds like you might be taking on a lot right now. With 2 babies. But then again I have a friend who has been working full time and going to school part time for the last 2 years. She even wrote one of her exams the day before she went into labour. I guess if you are going to have the support of your mom and your DH, than I say go for it. But just don't stress yourself out.
texasp3 replied: You can do it!! Absolutely!!!
I was a single mom going to graduate school full-time (four courses) and working 30 hours a week for two and a half years. My kid wasn't a baby ... but still little (K through 2nd grade). It's exhausting... but sooo worth it in the long run. I still managed to do well and it was very rewarding. Plus, in the long run, I was able to provide for my child ... before I went back to school we were really living in the poverty zone.
I've always joked that it was just a giant test to see how much I could do on no sleep and a steady diet of microwave popcorn and diet coke!
Funny thing though... when I finally finished, my son Michael made me a card that said "Yay! No more tests!"
That was years ago...
Seriously... I'm glad you're going for it!
Josie83 replied: Well, I went through this when I decided to take up school (although I didn't have two tiny babies). I found it a little bit hard at first but with Jason helping me (like you have Devlin to help you) it soon sorted itself out. If you are sure of yourself then that's a good start! I'm sure that you will do just fine. It seems to me as though once you set your mind on something there's no stopping you! Of curse it means you won't be here as much and I'll miss you LOADS, but I say go for it! And good luck! xx
Lollie replied: Thank you so much...
Josie...awww...dont worry,I'll always make time for you!And hey..who else can I chat to about...uummm...'intimate stuff' without feeling like a freak! As you said...we were separated at birth! So you stuck with me...
3xsthefun replied: I'm sure you can do it! Good luck!
Josie83 replied: I'm glad to hear it. Its true, you are very good to chat to about that stuff! I can't wait to hear how its all going . . . xx
