Am I the only one this annoys?

Nina J replied: My DH never calls or texts me when we're in our house...he just yells for me. He yells really loud too, sometimes it scares me. I could just be sitting here and then I hear "NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENA!!!!", I think he's having a heart attack or something so everytime I rush to wherever he is and he usually says "Could you make me a cup of tea Nina??".

LOL you know by the time they finish calling and waiting for us they could have made, cleaned, got, whatever they wanted us for in the first place.

C&K*s Mommie replied: reminds me of that cell phone carrier commercial where a family is sitting around the table eating dinner, and text msgs his son who is sitting right across from him to pass him things.

Twelve Volt Man replied: At my home, we use a bit more archaic means of communication. I have a bell that I will ring to summon my wife. She then has 30 seconds to respond. I'll then advise her of my need (a beer, the newspaper, etc.). From that point, she has one minute to retreive the item. If she fails to respond in the aforementioned time frame, she is punished by losing priviledges such as washing dishes, doing laundry, scrubbing toilets, etc. I'm liking the text message idea, though. My way just doesn't seem to work! Thanks.

stella6979 replied: It doesn't annoy me, cause it doesn't happen. If DH wants something from me he can get off his butt and ask me, or better yet, he can get that something for himself.

lisar replied: Gene my dh will be sitting outside and call me on the phone to get my attention for something. I dont answer the phone I just go to the sliding glass door and look at him like WHAT.... He thinks its funny. Him and his best friend will call me and Amanda my best friend to make them something to drink and all that stupid stuff but when we quit answering the phones they started to radio us. Thanks to Nextel.
