I am scared to death - My mom called me this am to tell me she is coming with me Thank god...
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Good luck with that.
boyohboyohboy replied: good luck christine..i think its just that its all we hear about lately, and its on your mind..i am sure it will be fine.. how long till you get the results?
msoulz replied: Hope all is well - it likely is!!
lovemy2 replied: You can stay there and get them - I think the whole thing takes about 3 hours - but I am not leaving until I get the results....I would be a mess....
MommyToAshley replied: I am sure everything will be fine. It's good that you are having preventive check-ups... that's the important thing. Let us know how it goes.
lisar replied: I think its normal to think that way. Good luck and I hope everything turns out okay.
A&A'smommy replied: I'm sure everything is fine! Let us know how it goes sweetie!!!
luvmykids replied: I'm sure it will turn out fine but I think it's normal to be nervous about it...I'm glad your mom can go with you
Calimama replied: You're completely normal to feel that way. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
gr33n3y3z replied: I started getting mamos once a year when I was 24 bc my Mom had breast cancer and died at the age of 50 Mind you that was in 1989 they have gotten so much better this day and age.
Yep I was nervous as all crap ......... I did figure out with me if something is wrong the Dr that reads them comes in and talks to you within 15 min. and if your fine you dont see him LOL
Dont worry hun I will say a prayer for you
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I think it's normal to be nervous and to somehow expect the worst at appts such as this one. But think postively - like Dee Dee said, you're doing the right thing by getting it done. Please KUP...
grapfruit replied: No, not weird! Just scared, that has to be normal! Everything will be fine! We're all praying for good results. Do you give yourself monthly self-exams?
jcc64 replied: It would be weird if I DIDN'T get scared s***less everytime I go the dr, particularly if the possibility of discovering cancer is involved. I had my 1st mammo a year ago, because I manually felt a lump. (it turned out to be nothing). The whole thing is un-nerving, but everyone's right. It's the right thing to do, however scary it is. Good luck! I'm going for mine next week.
