I knew he would'nt win b/c his look is very 80's rocker-ish and for american idol, thats a no no... The little blonde dork was definatly the fan favorite...

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I don't usually watch that show.... but I landed on it last night, and heard something about "sorry..." so I figured I'd watch what good old tight-t-shirt had to say about the person who got booted....
...and ended up watching the performance.
From a fan of the REAL song, I thought the "performance" part of the song was TERRIBLE. Off key, a LOT. But the stage performance was alright. They was just WAYYYYY off key with the song, which I do like a lot. If that was one of the best that are remaining, I don't want to see what the cream of the crop is - hopefully that person was just having an emotional few moments, and that is why the song blew as opposed to being a measure of the person's talent, because *I* can sing better than that.
Sorry, I sing at weddings, and I've been playing the piano for 16 years. I KNOW I have a good ear...and that performance hurt it.

My2Beauties replied: UGH I was so mad! I think Anthony should've gotten the boot a long time ago, even before Jessica Ciera! I really like this person! His performance of this song did suck, but his other performances have been great! Well all I can say now is Go Carrie!
