I don't watch American Idol, but I normally end up loving the artists who win.

I can't wait for his first album - he's the first winner that has the *style* of music that I like. Except maybe for Kelly but I like David Cook better.

DVFlyer replied: Archie could sing for sure, but with the Daughtry's and Nickelback's being relatively popular, I think David Cook has a more "current" voice.

I was SOOOO happy that David C. won! I personally think that with his age he is just the better talent at this point. Archuletta has a long way to go in developing a good stage persona (ie; the kid doesn't have a whole lot of personality) whereas David Cook is already a true performer. I think they will both do well though

I agree that he seemed so humbled to have won. I loved that he shared the moment with David A. I also know that it must be extremely difficult for him to be going through all of this during such a tough time in his family life. My prayers are with him for certain. I hate that his brother couldn't be there last night.
