American inventor
mummy2girls wrote: this show was actually pretty funny! Its like american idol but instead it will pick the next great invention/inventor! Some things was just stoo funny for words and some were actually good!
luvmykids replied: We watched bits and pieces, I really liked that kid with the dog air conditioner. I felt sorry for the woman with the Tizzy Tube. But I wasn't super impressed with any that made it through. Oh, and I felt bad for that cleaning lady who spent $12k and it's already on the market! (My mom even has one!)
mummy2girls replied: that tizzy tube i wasnt to impressed about. i wopuld not stick my child in a tube so they can have a tantrum...LOL...
mummy2girls replied: i missed that one.. what product did that lady make but was already made?
luvmykids replied: I wouldn't use the tizzy tube either but thought they were way too hard on her. I do know some parents who would! And that other lady had a thing that goes across your bed, between the mattresses where you put a dust ruffle, that had pockets that hang down for remotes, glasses, etc.
mummy2girls replied: yes yes yes..ive seen those...LOL...
luvmykids replied: Poor thing, she's spent 12k and the last 7k was such a rip off, she called an 800 number for inventors that she saw on TV and they said they'd help her move it along, she sent the money and they sent her a big fat book about nothing!
When they told her it was already selling she couldn't believe it. I still don't think she understood that someone had already thought of it, she was just mumbling about how it can't be b/c she has a patent, etc. Poor thing.
C&K*s Mommie replied: ITA, Chris and I agreed that we would never let out kids be in that Tizzy Tube , but yes they were harsh on her.
That Tantrum Tot (or somthing like that) was a really good idea. It would not have been fair for her to get through when it did seem as though she was on the verge of a marketable product, where as everyone else was still at the bottom. I would buy that DVD any day.
I missed that one, I was waiting for it though. And Chris must have changed the channel during that pitch.
What did you think of the lotion on the TP roll? I would never use that.
Crystalina replied: Hey Nicole, I think it was called the Tim-out Tot. I would buy that but I think she really was already on her way and didn't need to be there.
As for those TizzyTube things, I've never laughted so hard. They were REALLY hard on her but what was she thinking? The poor boy that was in the long clear one, I felt so sorry for him. What does he do if he falls down? How would he get up? And the little girl! Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you were to put the child inside of it instead of UNDER it. They were just bumping into everything. I'm not sure I understood what that would teach the child anyway. I mean when your an adult you can't just throw on your TizzyTube. Hey, wait a minute. I think I'm on to something.
I also felt bad for the little boy with the dog air conditioner. He reminded me so much of my nephew. He was very quick whitted. I'm glad that the one judge with the terrible shirt went out to comfort him.
gr33n3y3z replied: I thought it was a pretty good show I liked the sand bag invention smart thinking on his part and I think that will go far into the show also.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I enjoyed the show I lot. I thought that gym in a bag guy had a lot of heart, but I wasn't so sure about the product.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I am glad that guy with the hawaiian shirt(s) ((in the upcoming previews he is wearing them)) went to give him a boost too. He has to learn there are rejections, but you keep getting better and better.
My2Beauties replied: I cried for the man with the gym in a bag. I think there is a "gadget factor" like that one judge was saying, that is a lot of weight to carry around in a bag, but it's a good idea, you could have different levels of the gym in a bag you know. He had a lot of heart and he wasn't out for just himself. I didn't realize how much money it costs for a patent on something. I felt sorry for that woman with the dust ruffle thing for the bed, the "Beddie pouch" up until the end when she told all the judges off basically in that interviewing room or whatever, saying they were lying, come on now everyone knows that was invented already they were letting her know that her money was taken from her. I liked the big scooper with the sandbag on it or whatever, I also liked the solar powered cooler, things like that would definitely come in handy in a disaster.
