I met her little boy Connor for the first time the next day and we just sat around gossiping until this morning. It was a lot of traveling, but so worth it. I'm not going to let it go another 5 years without a visit to my best friend again

Apparently, she did great She is an angel for DH... it's me she acts up for!

She asked for me once, but had no problems not nursing the entire time. Even slept in for DH! Of course, as soon as I got home she had to nurse continuously for hours and put up a fight trying to get her to sleep. Aaargh!

btw, i just have to say that i am totally jealous of your friend's DH! wow, what an awesome birthday he planned.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm so glad you went. It sounds like you had awesome time!! I agree you need to get together more often with her. I haven't seen my best friend in 5 years, either. Unfortunately neither of us has a rich DH to pay for a get together like that!
