And my mom thinks I'll ever move there? - don't open of you hate bugs!!!!
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: My parents found this on their driveway the other evening. And she continues to ask why I would never move there? BTW, they live in rather rural Oklahoma.
Warning*** don't go any further if you are at all bug phobic!!!! The broom is for size comparison and to get it off the driveway, I believe.
mummy2girls replied: Why wouldnt you want to move there? wouldnt it be great to find one of those in your bed? LOL
yuck! i hate spiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tarantuilas takes the cake!
luvmykids replied: EEWW-thanks for the warning but I'm a masochist I guess, I looked anyway and EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW I can't shake it!
gr33n3y3z replied: Umm do you mean they dont kill them? They just broom the down the drive way to come back? lol The only thing that spider would see if the bottom of my shoe
PrairieMom replied: I couldn't step on a spider that size in a million years! It would be like squishing a small animaly to death with my foot! I wouldn't let it live tho. I think I would broom it into some kind of a jar or air tight container and gas it to death. I wouldn't want it comming back. eeewwwwwww!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Apparently mom has a higher tolerance for creepy crawlers than I do. And I could no way squish something that big. Ewwww!! She says they keep the bigger bugs down, I think they could probably keep mice away too. No Way!!
PrairieMom replied: Okay. If the huge spider isn't one of the "bigger bugs" then there is noway I could even visit! What could possibly be bigger?!?!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Oh, I meant the larger insects. They don't get much bigger than a tarantula, I hope. Except maybe praying mantises ( would that be praying manti?). Either way, I think I'll be timing my visits during the winter or fall from now on.
mckayleesmom replied: Ive held a taranchila before....they are not that bad....To be honest...the smaller the bug..the more it creeps me out.
luvbug00 replied: EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!
moped replied: OMG OMG OMG - I have the worst phobia of spiders and that is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG OMG OMG
Sorry, OMG
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Sorry, Jen. I tried to put two warnings.
MommyToAshley replied: EWWWWW! That is a huge! I hate bugs, but I looked anyways!
I lived in Louisiana for almost two years. When we first moved there, I was in the bathroom and saw a big ugly scorpion on the floor. I was so afraid to go to the bathroom after that. Then, somehow I sat in a red ant hill... I immediately felt the bites and started screaming. My mom threw me int he shower within a matter of minutes but I still had huge whelps on me for weeks. YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! Did I say I hate bugs???!!! No offense to those that live in Louisiana, but I was so happy to move!
moped replied: I thought about not looking but I just had to!!! My fault! I may never sleep again!
As Jack would say EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: To Jen and anyone else I may have traumatized. I will send you ~~~sweet dreams~~~ vibes.
JAYMESMOM replied: Ewww. That is just gross. I hate bugs and can kill little spiders and ants but the big spiders that come out in spring/summer (no where near that big) gross me out and I found 3 in 2 days. All in the bathroom..
I almost stepped on one until Jayme told me that there was an ant by me.
Well I am glad I looked because it was NOT an ant. She thinks every bug is an ant.
The worst by far though are cockroaches and then mice.
EWWWWWWWWWW. But that is a whole other discussion. LOL
3xsthefun replied: Eww!
I hate spiders!
moped replied: You must ask your mom if they step on it or just remove it from the spot
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh Kelly...Ew. Yes I lived in Florida and they do grow them pretty big down there, but don;t think I've seen one that big. No I wouldn't step on it either. There was a big honken spider in the kitchen here while I was pregnant with Jordan. Jade comes running into the livingroom screaming Mommy a bug. Well I went in there. I could see this things fangs and it ran right at me. Zack was on the phone outside and I hollered at him to kill it because I just couldn't. Yup now I've given myslf the heebie jeebies.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I'm definitely in the minority here - I think he's cute.
He looks nice and soft - very fuzzy.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I talked to my mom and she said that she and my dad coaxed this tarantula into a box and my dad took it across the street to a meadow and let it loose. He says this one's a baby, he's seen them as big as an adult's hand crossing the road before. Yuck, I wouldn't even want to hit one with my car.
ilovemybaby replied: And this is why I live in New Zealand!
Brias3 replied: OMG, GROSS....I would have flipped out if I came across that thing
CantWait replied: Omgosh that is big, hairy, and UGLY. That's so gross.
huggybugboy replied: OMG i almost said a bad word. ok, there is definitely something wrong with that. They have those things at our zoo! I would never live anywhere where they actually crawl around on the ground!
amynicole21 replied: Uuuuuuuuugggggggghhhhhh! I would have to immediatly sell the house if I saw one of those in it!
