And some pictures from our trip
kit_kats_mom wrote: The girls riding Chocolate the donkey
kit_kats_mom replied: Katherine covering herself in mud
kit_kats_mom replied: I thought this was just a super patriotic picture...very sweet and American.
kit_kats_mom replied: K riding on Nib the clydesdale. And no, it was not lost on me that the clydesdale and the donkey were in the same pen just like the budweiser commercials.
kit_kats_mom replied: This is a picture of when the donkey got out. You can't really see her by the road but it does show how isolated we were. I think that the lump of trees may be a farmhouse but I'm not sure. If it is, it's their nearest neighbor.
kit_kats_mom replied: and lastly, Lauren in the wheel well of grandpas tractor.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Your girls are just beautiful!
Those are great pics of the horse/donkey and the farm (nearest neighbor) in the background.
Love the pic of Katherine being patriotic.
luvmykids replied: I love all the pics, the patriotic one and Lauren in the tractor wheel are incredible.
Bet you're soooo glad to be home but at least the girls look like they had some fun
mckayleesmom replied: Awww...they are too cute. I love that Donkey.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Great pics! They're all so cute.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Great pics Cary. You were out in BFE. I'm glad that you all got home safely and it's over.
amynicole21 replied: Great pics! None of the old grump? Oh yea, we did see the donkey's butt, didn't we LOL!
kit_kats_mom replied: Oh Amy...I'll tell you all about it when I see you next. Trust me...there's more vileness than you could imagine. Would you believe me if I told you that they made me ride in the back of the car on the way to the airport too? Or perhaps you would be suprised to learn that MIL called DH after they dropped us off at the airport (3 hours before our flight) to tell him that she was suprised and a little hurt that I seemed to want them to leave? Really? Seriously? You were suprised? No
Well, unbeknownst to Woody, I'm keeping good records of all of this and I'm going to write a screenplay and make a ton of money off of my suffering. It will have to be a comedy...no one would believe the documentary.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Cary the pics are wonderful! You'd never be able to tell you had a miserable time.
They actually own a clydesdale?? How cool is that? It looks like a lovely place (to visit)
Glad you made it home safely. I'll go see your movie.
DansMom replied: Great photos---I love the flag pic! Sorry you had to suffer---I agree, it could be the stuff of comedy.
CantWait replied: Those are some great pics. The girls are gorgeous.
gr33n3y3z replied: Those pics are great I love those Such beauitful land and your girls are so pretty
Kaitlin'smom replied: wonderful picutres. sorry you had a bad time. I cant waite to see the movie!
3xsthefun replied: Cute pictures!
jcc64 replied: Well, the pics do a good job of masking your misery- it looks like a wholesome apple pie sort of a shindig. No evidence whatsoever of the simmering cauldron of misery and contempt bubbling beneath the bucolic farmlands. I have quite a stockpile of my own miserable in-law stories. Maybe we can do a Can-You-Top-This thread? Any takers?
