Annika - 2 months old

She weights 11 pounds 4 ounces now and is 23 inches long. They put little dot bandaids where she got her shots so she had Joe Cool Snoopy on her thighs.

Actually, I liked getting the shots all over with at once, but I HATED being there for it!!

She is adorable and I love the bandaids. It gets better by time she is 9m she will jsut look at them like owwww and wimper and be done with it. I think i tear up and moan more then Sabrina with shots.

The nurse was real quick about it and as soon as she was done I picked her up and she stopped crying. She just looked like she lost her best friend for the rest of the day though.

I don't know where the time goes. I noticed as I got older time flew without a doubt but now it's stuck on warp speed or something. It doesn't feel like that long again Kimberly and I were having our little angels.

PS Annika went to bed last night at 930 and 830 tonight. I hope I just didn't jinx myself. I hear her wimper every now and again on the monitor but I'm trying to stay glued to my seat.

I hated the shots too. The worst time I remember is when Ashley was about 6 months old. She didn't even cry, but she looked at me with this pitiful look and her lip stuck out .... I lost it when her lip and jaw started quivering. As if to say "Mom, why did you let them do this to me?" It would have been easier if she had just wailed. But, they do forget about it in no time.... it IS harder on us.

It is harder on us for sure. I have NEVER seen her face so red.
