Anthony's sick - and grumpier then ever

booey2 replied: Get well baby vibes coming at you. Thomas is sick too and I hear your pain, he shared what he has with me so now I am yucky too. Oh well the life of mother/parenthood. Get better soon Anthony, try penetane on the diaper rash, really thick but it usually does the trick.

Schnoogly replied: Oh I hear you! If there's anything worse than a HN baby, it's a sick one. Hope he gets well soon! Try taking a bath with him--that ought to clear up his nose and he might be able to nurse some. And if he poops, well, at least you can rinse him off The diaper free time might help his bum too.

coasterqueen replied: Ahh I hope he gets feeling better soon!!! Is he on an antibiotic? If he is that could be giving him a yeast diaper rash maybe? Clomitrazole (an otc cream) works great for us.

we use desitin for rashes but just leaving his dry bum exposed to air for 5 minutes at each change should make it better in no time. take him in the bathroom while you shower. the steam will be great for him. hang in there both of you.

I always dread taking Ashley for check-ups because I know there will be sick kids there. She always wants to get down and play with the toys, but I don't let her. ANd, I am constantly washing her hands there. When she was small, other kids at the Ped office were always wanting to touch her, I hated to be mean, but I didn't let them. It is flu season now, I would only imagine it is even easier to pick up something from the other kids there.
