Any of your SO's - SNORE

moped wrote: UGH....................and if thye do how do you deal with it???

I am not getting much sleep and the funny thing is that Jack is sleeping 13 hours, but not Mommy..................

Josie83 replied: Only if he's had a bit to drink rolleyes.gif
I deal it with this in this way: a gentle shove, followed by a hrder shove, followed by a light smack across the back of his head followed by a harder smack across the back of his head until he wakes up! wink.gif Aren't I such a lovely wife?

If I'm awake, I don't see why he sould get to lie there snoring like a walrus tongue.gif xx

moped replied: Lol.......you crack me up Josie..........I try that all the time, but I can't seemto budge him.....he is 6'7 and about 270 lbs..................UGH........and he is getting mad at me in the middle of the night

TANNER'S MOM replied: In MY family.. I am the snore'ee

It sucks too b/c Randy is so MEAN to me about it.

He says I don't saw logs.. I build houses!

5littleladies replied: Jas snores-and it drives me crazy. I do just about the same method as Josie-shoves gradually increasing in intensity, however my husband doesn NOT wake up so I usually end up rolling him over to his side and that stops it. It's kind of a nightly ritual. rolleyes.gif

moped replied: I have to say it makes me have some terrible strong emotions about my husband!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Get so angry

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Scott only snores if he has a cold or if he falls asleep on his back. I just wake him up and tell him and he rolls over. happy.gif

5littleladies replied:
It makes me mad sometimes too. How the heck am I supposed to sleep with that racket going on? rolleyes.gif But the worst is if I am already irritated with him about something when we go to bed and he falls right to sleep and starts snoring-Ohhh baby you better watch out tomorrow!

Kaitlin'smom replied: yep he does I usually wake him up and tell him to roll over then he usually stops, he is so LOUD on his back and evenmore when he is congested. last night he slept in the other room since he was congested and knew he woudl snore well that did not matter he still woke me up with that noise I could hear him all over the house I fnally went in and told him to roll over. Its so frustrating to be woken up with this ruckus dry.gif

Celestrina replied: Usually all I have to do is give him a shove (several times a night). When he drinks, its a diffrent story. I've had to sleep on the sofa a few times.

A&A'smommy replied: I'm sorry I wish I could help but I'm the one that snores blush.gif oh and so does Alyssa emlaugh.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied:
thumb.gif Me too! I generally fall asleep in Olivia's bed and she tells me not to make so much noise!! laugh.gif

I've tried (as has he) everything~nasal strips, him trying to wake me, earplugs, etc. Finally, he started sleeping on the couch (or before O in the spare bedroom). Seems to be the only solution at our house!

Sorry, not much help I guess! blush.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I nudge Scotty all night long. I try to go to sleep before he does, but that doesn't happen very often. It is frustrating. rolleyes.gif

MIMommy99 replied: My husband snores at night and I push and shove and all of the above and he doesn't even flinch! I try everything and I can't get him to stop.
dry.gif I talk crap to him while he's sleeping but he doesn't know cause its like hes dead when hes sleeping. lol And than one night he woke up in the middle of the night and woke me up cause I was snoring. And he said " You're keeping me up with that snoring" I could'a slapped him. smash.gif

texasp3 replied: Oh heck yah! He snores terribly. It's one of the very few nice things about having him living and working in a different state! LOL! When I go to bed, I know the only thing that's going to be waking me up is Gabriel needing me. When DH is here, I give him a gentle shake and it turns off the snoring long enough for me to get back to sleep.

It's understandable that it makes you angry. Anything that constantly interrupts our sleep is going to get on our nerves eventually. What ticks me off is that DH knows why he snores, knows what to do to prevent or at least minimize it and WON'T DO IT! AGH!!!

Fine, so I banished him to Oregon! BAHAH!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: wacko.gif Yes big time! His snoring was so bad that he was referred to a sleep doctor and they found out he had sleep apnea. Now he has to sleep with a breathing maching - it's called a C-PAP machine.
