Anyone Got Any HAPPY News?

We had a very nice weekend together as a family - first time in a long time and my Gram is safely home from AZ -

Lets see, surely I can dredge up something happy around here  Ummmmm....well......maybe not
We're going to a Frontier Days Friday, they have chuckwagons, trick ropers, reenactments, etc and the kids are very, very excited. My stepdaughter is entering her first "real" rodeo this weekend too, so we're taking a day trip to go watch.
So although nothing recently has been good we're looking forward to a really fun weekend

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yeah i got some... i sent an email to my supervisor for my daycare telling her that today is the little &^!$#'s LAST DAY. I don't want him here anymore.

Cookie the wonder cow is doing really well! She has continued to beat the odds and is growing like crazy! Toro has really helped we think and they are pretty good buddies
Spot 6 is turning out to be an awesome addition to our family. He plays with Tay and LOVES to fetch anything you throw for him. Big bonus he is not running the cows  and obeys really well!
Bill has been busy enough but getting to come home enough to have some play time too.
My siblings made it home safe from their trip to Canada and my little sis is coming to see us soon 
We have been having a great summer so far and have been having lots of family time and FUN!
Gald your Grandma is safe at home and that you are having a good summer too!

grapfruit replied: Hmmm, good news. Tim put up a new ceiling fan in the bed room last night. It's quiet and has a remote control!! I can dim the lights and change fan speed. I love it!

as for me one of my best friends just found out she is 15wks pregnant.. and we decided instead of going on the cruise we are going to texas to see my best friend whom I have been missing like crazy... weird huh....

dh has started to work some ot and make up for freight being so slow, but there is a new railway going in around sept..so things are looking up!
and all the new babies born on PC have been happy healthy little ones.....

Jackie012007 replied: oooh I have lots of good news - I still have a job and I love it, I'm getting a raise, I'm finally getting over my bad ear and throat infection, I have an appointment for a consultation for my tonsilectomy/ear tubes etc, and Carly not only sat up on her own today, she also crawled a little bit on the floor in the playroom at the daycare I work at! She's growing way to fast!

C&K*s Mommie replied: I am finished with school!!! For the time being anyways.
I will be going out onto extern starting next Wed, then I graduate in Dec.
The good news is I squeaked out two A's with two classes, and I worked harder than I've ever worked for those two A's. 
Semi-good news (to me anyhow) is that I have two B's with my other two classes. One was online, and I chose not to do one assignment, which cost me the "A" grade.  The other I worked very hard for, but in the end I was left with a high B.
My GPA will fall because of those B's, but hopefully it will still look good enough to get accepted into nursing school.
