I just got home from the hospital. Dh went to get some groceries and both girls are asleep. Well Megan keeps wimpering but hopefully I can get a short thing here typed.

Monday night around 7:30 I started having contractions again but very sporadic. By 10:00 I started having nausea and back pain that was horrible and couldn't settle down. So I decided to get in the bathtub which didn't help. I then went to bed. I could never sleep, by 2:00 in the morning after pacing the floor wondering why I felt like crap (besides my chest cold) I woke DH up and told him I was going to L&D just to get checked out and he should stay home so Kylie could sleep. I was sure I would be right home.

Got to the hospital and they checked me and I was 90% effaced and 3 cm. So they kept me there for an hour and actually in less than an hour I was 100% effaced and 4 cm. So they admitted me, I called Ryan and he took Kylie to mom and dad's.

Another hour I was dialated to a 5m.....that was by about 4 am. So I was apparently in labor I was having bad back labor and severe nausea. By 8 am I started throwing up LOADS and then tons of diarrhea. Little did I know that I wasn't going to move from a 5 cm until MUCH MUCH later that evening (3/16). She finally arrived via VBAC (YAY!) at 10:09 pm on March 16th.

That's the "short" version of Megan's birth story. I'll give you the long version later. So Miss Megan arrived 4 weeks early, but is doing great. She's 6 pounds 9 ounces and 19 1/4 inches long. MUCH tinier than Kylie. She's a squeeler!

Breastfeeding is going absolutely HORRIBLE, lots and lots of problems with my little early bird but we are getting through it and no formula!

I'd post a pic but our home network is down so I can't seem to access the camera photos from the basement and I don't want to go down there right now. So I'll post one later. She's a doll though!

I haven't slept more than 2 hours since Monday night so I'm going to try to sleep while the girls are asleep, so I'll catch up with you all later.

Karen...dont worry,Caitlyn was also born 4 weeks early and the breastfeeding did not go well at all at first but now its just great!Give her time,she will get the hang of it!!!! You try to get some rest...I know it wont be easy!

The b/f will come. My best friend's twins girls were 6 weeks early, spent the first 10 days in the NICU and are still nursing at 10.5 months.
