Anyone started your nursery yet?
MommyToAshley wrote: What colors/themes are you doing?
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley's room was originally going to be a second office. It had brand new Hunter Green carpet and Hutner Green Marbled wallpaper half way up the wall, then molding, and the rest of the wall was painted white. When we found out that we were PG and that she was a girl...we were trying to find out what went with hunter green. We ended up going with a light pink and the ballerina bear theme. I'm glad we did...she just loves the bears that are on her bedding. And, there is a teddy bear wallhanging above her changing table that she just giggles at.
So, her room is hunter green and pink.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: My first nursery (Zachary's) I painted all the walls and ceiling a nice sky blue. I made some areas a little darker, and some lighter, and it all blends it really nice. I took some white and gray, and painted clouds all over the ceiling and the top of the walls, I even painted his blinds the same colors!
Both his dressers are white, and his crib is wood.
The next baby is going to have that room, and we're going to move Zach to a *big boy* room, which I've started working on already. It's going to be kinda like a Planes, Trains and Automobiles theme with Bright colors. Don't really know how I,m going to set it up yet - but I,ve already bought the paint, a bed which we're going to modify, and the bed spread.
CantWait replied: Well the baby's room is a yellow, a little paler then the smiles here, and the crib bedding is in Teddy Bears, and other stuffed animals, and is the colour blue jean. There's also yellow in the cribbing so it blends really well. I was afraid to paint the room blue just in case that feeling I have comes true. LOL
Robbie brand new bedroom is painted a bright aqua marine green, and he's got all pine furniture in his room from Ikea (I love this store, first favourite next to Walmart, forgot about that), his dresser is a 3 drawer blue plastic bit, from ikea also, with bright green and blue bedding...you guessed it, from Ikea also with a blue area rug in front of his bed, he's also got pine shelves up for his beanie baby's and a pine desk, yes yes yes , everything in his room is ikea. We also got him a laundry bag from there, and a toy box.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I should change that last what's your favourite store to shop at post. It's definetly Ikea, I spent $200.00 last time we went a month back on new things for Robbie's room. He had all the furniture from before except the new dresser. I'm HOOKED!!!!!!
razz05 replied: Well... Sawyer's room is not the TYPICAL nursery... it will grow with him for a few years Here's pics of it if you'd like to see... (along w/ his big sis' room too).

razz05 replied: I did paint them all by myself It was FUN
ashade75 replied: Love the Anne Geddies!!! Very Cute.
dolfinrse replied: Our nursery is done. Since we are having a boy, we picked out a border and bedding set at Babies R Us. It's got teddy bears all around playing baseball, basketball, soccer, and football.
MommyToAshley replied: Aweee..that sounds cute! I just love bears!
fitmom726 replied: My husband wants to do the nursery to look like Yankee Stadium! I'm not sure about it, but I told him to "go for it"! We are going to use that same bedding from Babies R Us with the bears playing sports, I think, but sticking mostly with the baseball theme.
MommyToAshley replied: So, is he going to paint the walls to look like a stadium? Sounds kewl! I want to see pics when it's done!
