Anyone's DH's goin Hunting?

hoosier momma replied: My hubbie is also a hunter. He didn't get to go at all last year because I was so close to my due date and everyone thought I would go early. I was too afraid he would be out of contact if I went into labor, first time mom thoughts. He is going to go this year, but not sure if it will be this weekend or next.
lisar replied: My Dh goes hunting every weekend. He got 2 bucks last weekend. We have had venison 3 times since. I am not cooking anymore this week at all. He is taking Lexi with him this weekend. She is so excited.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well not only my Dh but my whole family is.. including myself. I do like to go occasionally and enjoy the great outdoor. Rifle season began for us last weekend. It's been bow season a while and black powder. My family has been busy but will be goign this weekend.

BabyOwen427 replied: DH hunts, he has already gotten 2 this year. He is going back out this weekend and will be going everyday next week in the morning, going to work during the day, then going back out in the evening, then comming home to sleep I won't see him inless it is midnight.  It's like a mini-away-from-DH-vacation. It gives me time to get ready for Thanksgiving, it always seems like I can't ever get anything done with him here.

Calimama replied: Eh my DH isnt a hunter. He says he sees enough guns at work... he doesnt want to see them during his hobby time.
Crystalina replied: Gene has been hunting for a couple of weeks already (rabbit). He's kind of ticked because he just found out that there is a high paying load that loads in the morning and he was planning on going hunting. He's torn...pay the bills....get the wabbit....He's definatly going after the rabbits tomorrow. 
MyLuvBugs replied: Oh yeah....my father has corrupted my husband  He's now as turkey hunter.  Dah Dah Dah!!!  Doesn't bother me in the slightest though b/c of my dad being the great white hunter man himself. So long as DH doesn't want to mount them and hang them in our house I'm totally fine!
Here he is with my brother last fall.
MyLuvBugs replied: And this is just one room in my parents place (the atrium). It's dedicated to all of dads hunting trips to Africa and New Zealand. I'm so glad I dont' live there anymore.
Sorry it's a weird pic. DH took several shots and pieced them together to make this one big one to send to his folks a couple years ago.

Sorry Troy. I dont like it fried at all. But I have this cook book on all these diffrent ways to cook it. And some of them are really good.
luvmykids replied:  Hunters here....it's a big production that involves horses, guns, and a few hundred dollars worth of stuff, no matter what the guys have they always need something else

ROFLMBO! OK but that is why we love them right? There is just something so sexy about a man that can bring dinner home,build a fire and then cook said dinner with a pocket knife and baleing wire
