Appt Update!

Jamie wrote: Well we went to our 10:45am appt this morning, dr says shes 1cm now( yup no progress) but everything is looking very good, he said he could be wrong on the due date, but he doesnt see why the baby needs to stay in there, its big enough to come out..........so he scheduled an induction for Friday Aug. the 29th at 7:30am. So Fri is the day, unless baby decides otherwise!

Then he sent her for another u/s for 1pm, so we go to DW's dads house to chill and relax for a lil while, then head back. We were 15 min late and didnt get called to go in untill just after 2:20pm, so the tech did her thing checking if there was enough fluid and if the placenta was in good shape, and both were aok. Now we had a great tech, she let us see the babies face for a while, showed us the finger tips and the nails, and the head full of hair, saw the baby yawn and stick its tongue out at us and moving its hands around! We got more pics too, a real good shot of its face, it has big chubby cheeks!!!!!!!! The doc even said we have a really cute baby............tee hee hee

Well thats all for now.ill keep you all posted, but Friday is the day!!!

That reminds me of the first 4D Ultrasound we had of Ashley. We could see her face almost as if she was already born. She had (well still has for the most part) chubby cheeks too

I'm glad there's a definite end so both of you don't have to wait much longer. I swear the waiting was the worst part. Thanks for the update!!

coasterqueen replied: We elected for the induction on our due date b/c baby was BIG enough, LOL and I was in some EXTREME pain at that time.

Take this week to relax! Trust me! I worked all the way up until the day of and that day I took off to relax. Yeah, right, I was a nervous wreck and so was DH. Just don't get over excited about baby coming on Friday

Ours decided to wait a little longer than our induction day, LOL.

We'll be thinking about you and hope everything goes FAST!
