Are the two of you (your DH/SO & you) opposites?

Chris and I are diametrically opposed in many areas. I think it actually helps us. Similiar to having children who are oppisite of one another, and who still compliment the other nicely, we are different but we still are able to learn and grow as we are different.

luvmykids replied: In some areas, we are complete opposites, others we are very much alike. We are completely opposite in upbringing which I think has affected our personalities, for example, I'm super family oriented and close to my family (and some of his) while he actually prefers to have as little as possible to do with anyone either of us is related to.

He's very, very laid back and spontaneous, I'm a little more of a stick to the plan type although some of him rubbed off on me and it was fun to learn to be a little impulsive. I think of myself as a "flexible planner" which means I have a plan in mind but can give a little... he's a non-planner and proud of it.

We're opposites in discipline styles too, thats probably been our biggest division.

He's a crowd pleaser, I prefer closer relationships. He'd prefer to entertain a room, I prefer a small, tight group of friends.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Totally opposite in many ways. I think the saying opposites attract is so true. There are many things that we have in common though. I think we are a good fit and what we have in common and dislikes help us out all around.

he's clean I'm messy
he's mathmatically smart, i never passed algebra
he's got more common sence, i'm more spur of the moment

Greg is soooo easy going about everything, he never stresses out or worries about little things in life
And I most def. stress about everything (I get that from my Dad)

She is a home body, I like to do stuff
I laugh out loud, she laughs inside
She needs lots of sleep, I need little
She MUST get all "done up" to go anywhere, I put on a hat and go

So many other things...I think it is a good thing, if she was just like me we would have killed each other by now.
