Ashley started her dance class tonight - Pics of my little ballerina inside

The teacher told me after class that Ashley did great and she even moved Ashley between two shy girls to help encourage them to get involved.

I want to put K in dance classes but it will have to wait until soccer and swimming classes are over.

I want so badly to put Kylie in a dance class, she wants to too, but with her tiptoeing I'm afraid putting her in a dance class would set her progress back. So we have to wait a bit longer.

b&bsmom replied: So cute Britt loved dance and it gave her great self confidence. We are having issues right now about doing it again this year. She isn't sure she wants to. I think she would be upset if she didn't . She agreed to try it for few weeks and then decide. Enjoy she is just soooo cute.

She LOVED it! She's been talking about it ever since the class. And, we were watching a show on TV that had a part with a ballet and Ashley said, "I am going to dance like that Mommy!"

It's mostly to teach them rhythm, movement, body coordination, how to follow instructions, etc. It's actually called kinder dance, but Ashley calls it her ballet class. However, when I was watching the first lesson, I noticed they did teach them some things like first and second position, even if they didn't refer to it as such. They also were teaching left from right, but it's all done through fun music.
