I'm a Bo fan too but IMO he can probably get a BETTER deal than Carrie because people will be competing for him. AND secondly it doesn't matter he is going to be popular anyway

I agree Bo will probably make out better. The winner gets the prewritten contract with American Idol while the others can negotiate their contracts. Since Bo is already signing, I don't see how it hurt him in the least not being the winner. If he's too upset he can get in his new car and drive away his sorrows.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I thought they both were equally wonderful singers/performers. I was rooting for Bo and I loved when he sang with Lynrd Skynrd. He got the better deal. Carrie has to give 50% of all profits to American Idol FOR LIFE!!! No joke. So, he will be quite pleased once the money starts rolling in that he was #2 instead of #1. I know I would be.

ammommy replied: Well, Bo already has a record contract, so I don't think he got robbed. I was bummed that he didn't win, but honestly, I think in the long run it will be good for his image not to be the American Idol. He won't have to worry about becomming pop-y to fit the image.
