C&K*s Mommie replied: I do not know the full story on how he became that way. But the final owner was only supposed to have him for 48 hours that turned into well, years. And the sad part is her boyfriend (at the time) left her because she would not get rid of him. Oh well.... his loss.... The dog ended up on radio, on tv and meeting Donald Trump! And finally winning the title of "World's ugliest dog!"

redchief replied: Poor thing. That's a face that would make a mother swear it wasn't her kid. The dog's name is Sam. He was owned by Susie Lockheed of Santa Barbara, California. He won ugiest dog honors the last 3 years. He was a blind, age ailed Chinese Crested. Apparently he won ugliest dog paws down.

She is, she even sleeps with his favorite stuffed animal that he (Sam) slept with. I made the comment about him dying the other day in class, I mentioned that they proceeded to lay him to rest, because they found out he had a failing heart. Our teacher said "what did he have heart failure when he looked in the mirror!"

I mean I know he was not most peoples cup of tea but still his owned loved him and found him charming and saw something others did not!

I hope Sam''s owner is doing ok and finds peace and heals.
