Baby Teeth? - none, one, two or more?

booey2 replied: Hi, Thomas is 17 months now and he started sprouting teeth at about 4 months, in total now he has 4 top & 4 bottom in the front and 1 molar on upper left and one on the lower right. I think each child is different, his older brother cut his teeth a lot slower and later, not sure of exact age though, (he is 4.5yrs now). Good luck with your little cutie, the teeth will come in time. HTH

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley started cutting her teeth around 4 months, but they didn't come in until around 6 months. Her bottom two came in first. I wasn't sure she was teething either, but the Ped showed us the teeth... she shined a light on the gums and there were little white dots. She is 8 months now and has been teething for awhile and she is cutting her top two teeth.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Zach started cutting teeth at 3 months. By 4 months, he had the 2 bottom teeth... now 2 are cutting on the sides of the middle teeth, AND the 2 top ones are beginning to cut.

mommytohaley replied: Haley didn't get her first tooth until she was about 9 months old. She's 13 mos (today) and she has three on top and two on the bottom - that's it!

5littleladies replied: Brianna has 2 teeth-on the bottom. They came in at about 4 months and I haven't seen evidence of any others yet. I have a friend though who's daughter had no teeth until almost 2 years old. Some just take their time.

christiansmommy replied: mine had 8 by 9 months and has 4 more coming in right now at the same time 2 molars and 2 eye teeth! YUCKY!!!!!! be greatful yours doesnt have any yet lol biting really hurts! lol

ammommy replied: Megan's got all of hers except the 2yo molars and she's 19 months old. She cut all of hers 4 at a time (ouch!), but it would take a month or two from the first signs of teething until they broke skin. I could never tell the difference between her bumpy gums and bumps for teeth, though.

DVFlyer replied: Chloe has like 12 teeth or so. Molars just came in and it looks like eye teeth are just starting. Basically, it looks like someone took a shotgun full of chicklets and shot them into her mouth!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Matty has 9 teeth and the other 3 molars look like they will come through any day. When he gets a tooth he is awful for about 2 weeks before then will all of a sudden have another one in there

Amanda8 replied: Both mine got teeth at 5 months. My son was so good we didn't even know when it came threw. My daughter has her bottom to teeth and she was horrible. She was cranky and I thought she had the flu. My friends daughter didn't get a tooth untill 17 months and they all seemed to come at once. I asked the doctor what to do with my daughter and he tld us to put her tooth brush in the freezer for a few minutes it works for her.
