Bachelor Party Alternatives - Ideas for DH's best friend

Poker party at a friends house.
wine tasting bachelor party-set up at a local uppity rest.
Golf weekend.

3_call_me_mama replied: My DH had a paintball party for his bachelor party. All teh weddin gparty guys and a few friends went and played paintball for teh day. They hada blast.

I got pretty bothered when my DH went to one. I didn't say anything but it's just not my style and it weighed on my mind for months. I find it to be tasteless, immature and disrespectful. I know that some people don't mind if their guys go and I'd never tell my DH he couldn't but I'd rather just not know about it.

Ditto. I wouldn't tell him not to go, but he knows how I feel about it and respects that.

I'm not against strippers, per say, but to me the thought of a more than half naked woman grinding all over a man who is getting married THE NEXT DAY is disrespectful and tasteless. And frankly, JMHO, if a guy is into that, he's not my kind of guy. I think it's gross. And yes, I have actually been to a strip club. Yuck. I don't even see how it could be appealing.

ANYWAY, they're doing the poker party thing. Thanks for all the suggestions!
