Back from Doctor... - Ethan is breech!
Maddie&EthansMom wrote: It's true! He is breech and I knew it all along. The doctor was feeling around on my belly and he looked puzzled and I said "He's breech isn't he?" He said "Yeah, I think so!" So he did an u/s and sure enough the little stinker is head up. He said if he doesn't turn in 2 weeks that he will send me to the hospital for an epidural and flip him himself. Either that or a c-section. I said I'd rather not have a c-section. He said there is still room in there and plenty of fluid for him to move on his own and he is really active still so he thinks there is a good chance of him flipping. I guess he felt bad b/c he gave me a big hug and told me not to worry. Really I'm not that worried, but I'm sick and I wasn't my cheery self. I guess he noticed. I love my doctor. He is so sweet. Now I need some heads down vibes for little Ethan! LOL! Everything else was fine...no mention of protein in my urine, BP and weight are both good. Now, I'm going to get some rest and try to kick this nasty cold. DH has been so wonderful to me lately. (letting me rest and pampering me) I'm so lucky!
amynicole21 replied: Ack! Sending "turn, baby, turn" vibes your way. When I was pregnant I read an article online about exercises you can do to turn the baby yourself... lots of hands and knees stuff if I remember correctly. Try a google search to see what you can find. I've heard those external versions are not comfortable But, 2 weeks is plenty of time for him to scoot around on his own. Good luck!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
Thank you so much for finding that link for me. I will certainly try those excercises! I think the most important thing the article suggested was to prepare yourself mentally for a c-section that way you won't be devastated. That was good advice. I am pretty nervous about having a c-section and DH wouldn't want that for me, but it is a possibility and I am willing to accept that! In the meantime I will pray he flips! Expect the worst, but hope for the best, right?
CantWait replied: HEAD DOWN ETHAN, be a good boy for mommy Glad the rest of your appt went well. I hope Ethan decides to flip
A&A'smommy replied: aww well i hope he flips himself so here are some ~~~~~~~head down vibes~~~~~~~~~!!! you have a sweet dh and docter!!!!!
MomToMany replied: I really hope he turns on his own for you! I wouldn't want a c-section, either. I hope the exercises work or that your Dr. can get him turned for you.
