Back from doc - both girls stats

Kylie weighed in at 34.5 pounds. Course she had a bowl of cereal, an apple, a hash brown, milk and oj this morning before getting weighed as well as being weighed with clothes on. I was shocked though because she's been weighing 30-31 pounds at home. Gosh, hope that doesn't mean my scale is wrong because I got good news this morning when I got on it. So she's 3.5 pounds heavier from her 2 year visit. Kylie is also 40 inches tall! That's 3 inches from her 2 year visit. Dr. L said her growth curve is absolutely beautiful if you look at it from birth to now, even being at the end of the chart.


Megan weighed in at 14 pounds 14 ounces. That's up from 13 pounds at her 3 month visit. She measured 25.75 inches tall, which is up from 24 inches 3 months ago. He said she beautifully sits at the 50% mark.

The OT said that if she didn't start rolling over more or find her voice by 6 months she had to come back in. Well wouldn't you know it little Miss Megan found her voice this weekend and for extended moments of time. She SCREAMS, that's her sound. Just screaming, no cooing. And she started rolling over a lot more this weekend as eating her feet now. This child is going through so many milestones all at once lately it's freaking me out. She needs to slow down!
Megan got two shots, cried a bit more this time but we got through it.

I know what you mean about the screaming... luckily, Nora went from shrieking to growling recently... a much quieter sound, but also pretty hysterical.

I can't believe Kylie is 40" tall She's got Sophia beat, but Nora's got Megan beat on weight so we're even

3_call_me_mama replied: WTG Girls:) Kylie certainly is tall:) And the screeching/screaming.... doesn't go away.. Kathleen does it too, happy, sad, whenever. She babbles adn says a bunch of random words too but the screech is by far her voice of choice

Maddison is 40 in tall and 35lbs no clothes on. Kaden weighs almost as much as megan, he weighs 12 lb at 7 weeks! and is 22in long.

Lol Andrew did that for a few days last week - he's back to cooing again now but it was pretty hilarious!

WTG Kylie and Megan! Sounds like good appointments for both of them.

Ethan is a screamer. It really is awful. It has gotten so much worse. I can't believe I don't have more headaches.
