Bacon - what brand do you buy??

C&K*s Mommie replied: so very seldom, do we buy bacon that I cannot think of the name of it. I would know it if I saw it, though. It comes in a clear large package at Walmart, and I want to say it is Garretts or something like that, I am just not sure.

I better stop thinking of it, I will start to crave a slice soon.

Brias3 replied: We don't eat bacon that much but when we do its usually Oscar Mayer thick cut or the gourmet center cut one. I also like turkey bacon but don't buy it enough to have a brand preference- I'm the only one who would eat it so I usually just end up not getting it! We're not big bacon people here.

IMO--I don't like bacon period. Ryan isn't a huge fan either. We were both vegetarians for a few years in college, and we're semi-vegetarians now, so that's why.

MyLuvBugs replied: My dad just goes and buys a hog from a local farmer and has it butchered once or twice a year. So, no brand name, just "fresh from the hog" I guess.
