Bad DH! Shame on him.

He called me a little while ago and said "my mp3 player broke at the gym again. This is the 5th time and I'm done with it. It's spent more time in the mail being shipped from the factory to us than it has at the gym. So, did you get me an MP3 player for Christmas cause if not, I'm going to go get a new one tonight". So I told him to not buy anything yet. He said thanks & hung up. The phone rang again two seconds later and he says "ummmm I dunno what time it is and I was thinking of buying a watch. Should I hold off?". I said "it's noon and I'm not telling you what else in in those boxes under the tree you twit"
He really wants this casio watch that is solar powered, has a thermometer, compass and other stuff on it. problem is, it's over $200 and he doesn't wear a watch anyway. I may still get it for him but I'm flip flopping. So far he has a memory book for 2005-06 that I made on snapfish, an MP3 player that also does videos and pictures and a mobile DVD player for his plane trips. Maybe Santa will bring him the watch.
TheOaf66 replied: kudos to him for trying, I never try to figure out what I am getting.

Kaitlin'smom replied: shame on him. My DH is not any better, he likes to pick up the boxes ansd state whats in them, it really annoyes me when he is right about his own gifts. Totaly takes the fun out of it, I told him you can guess only in your head! Other wise you aint getting anything!
redchief replied: You have to admire his angle if nothing else. I like surprises so I don't snoop or try to get hints.
gr33n3y3z replied: I tell my friends and family you cant buy anything for yourself from Nov.17th on
C&K*s Mommie replied: I like his boldness to "ask" for something by making it known that he needs it and is contemplating getting it himself.
Cece00 replied: You should do what we do- No one is allowed to buy themselves any present type stuff (neccessities are OK, like shoes you NEED...etc...no 'gift' type stuff...) after Thanksgiving Day.
holley79 replied: Shawn is the same way when it comes to Christmas...
sparkys2boys replied: HaHa.. I love this one!!!LOL.. sounds like something I would say!!
